I'm currently doing interviews for new jobs. Should I just quit my job in the meanwhile? I'm burnt out and truly can't function to expectations.
What industry are you interviewing for, and how much experience do you have? You could be interviewing for years.

>>62228633These people do not even have roads, but bling bling like this casket.
>>62228991They also don't have the Private Equity sleazeballs buying up all the funeral homes and casket manufacturers and then charging a ridonkulous fortune for everything because of illegal cartelization of the funeral industry. How much do you think a few pieces of wood and some shiny metal tubing cost? Sure, making it look good takes some effort, but not all that much.Meanwhile in the U.S., some states make it illegal to purchase a casket other than from a licensed and regulated funeral home. No, you can't just buy one over the internet because the funeral home won't allow you to use one you didn't buy from them. No, you can't opt out of the underground concrete vault because groundwater contamination. No, you can't just dump granny into a hole in the ground (or a Wal-Mart dumpster).Even (holy fuck I'm getting ancient) thirty years ago when a friend's stepfather died, the funeral home ripped them off for $20,000 for a casket and a viewing. Meanwhile I could slap together some boards from Home Depot for under $100 if it weren't for the laws prohibiting that.
