i genuinely think michael burry is a retard who doesnt understand what his own role was in the 2008 crash and its aftermath. he still thinks he was a smartfag who read the bond prospectus's to find all the junk rated shit they packaged up, when in reality, a decision was made by a shadow organization to GIVE michael the billion because its good for long term business. how many billions have been fleeced from retail goyim in the years since the movie "The Big Short" was made? they easily 20x'ed their "investment" in Burry. Meanwhile the retard is still on the internet doomposting but had to liquidate his fund because his voice would inherently become less influential if you could actually track his performance. if burry really believes in what he believes, then he shouldnt be shorting the US stock market, he should be stockpiling ammo and weapons.

It’s over. Steam decks are more enjoyable and less restrictive. Their main gimmick was portability. Now they have actual competition from fucken steam. what will make the difference is Cerebras Inference market likely to dwarf training market. Cerebras not competing against Nvidia and training via Gpu’s rather likely to own and win the more coveted inference market. Think of GPU’s as turning on and off a light switch (GPU) vs leaving and constantly requiring that switch to be in the on position for continuous use that’s (Cerebras large chip - WSEs). the growth will come from low latency hyperscaling. im still bullish on CEREBRAS despite their shitty training market

Also, actual kids like real 8-13 year olds don’t really care about Nintendo and their IPs, it’s just for 30-40 year old nostalgic manchildren. Kids play Roblox on their iPad. If you went to that new Mario movie screening it was like 50% adults without children because the average Mario fan is 37 years old. Nintendo needs to stop catering to manchildren and make games for actual children again.

It's not untrue.
I went out and bought a Switch Lite last week explicitly to play old NES games because Nintendo purged all of the rom / play online sites of their primary IPs and this thing is the biggest piece of shit. It's wider and less comfortable but also lighter and flimsier than the 3DS, the digital pad is weak, the analog sticks and shoulder buttons are aligned funny, and all the games I see besides the NES stuff is nostalgia bait. "Hey, pay $50 for the Mario RPG that you bought 25 years ago but then never got into!"

i felt that way, sold the bottom in 2022 and never rebout, lost everything then lost all the potential gains if i had just bought. didnt re-enter until 1/28/2026. now im back. I saved a lot during that time and got my mind right. eased back in slowly, then once i got my footing and saw some good DD in these generals (MU), i went big and made cash. (You) can do it too
>wait for a dip

S&P isn't discussed that much here because it's only ever gone up over the long term. The ATH now will be eclipsed by a new ATH sometime in the future. How long? Who knows. Even in 2008 it only took ~2 years to recover. In the last year my SPY has given me about a 20% return, not going to be the thing that makes me a giga billionaire, but it's stable and reliable enough to be the place to keep the money that I have no intention on using immediately. Way better than any money market account.

In my humble opinion it's the only way to play if you don't want to leave too much up to chance. Historically the downside is muted, coupled with macro knowledge and leverage you can skew the upside even more.
Single names are inherently too volatile for any meaningful leverage.

My kid loves playing counter strike 2. I’m excited to get him his handheld so we can play stuff together because he’s always asking me. I have a steam library that I can’t wait for him to explore. Lots of good shit like OG RCT.

I am fortunate to have wealth that was accumulated by my parents and are planning on horse riding lessons soon. I remember being a kid and couldn’t afford more than 1 new game a year for any console I had at the time. Feels good making gains and being able to give him nice things as well traveling at such a young.

My son was born deaf so that’s a whole different type of disability. People in public assume he’s autistic because he makes strange noises and can’t speak. We know ASL and it’s a beautiful language. Unfortunately most deaf have a hard time learning to read because words can be abstract to a deaf person. You have to be able to hear to speak. If you want to know how hard it is, try having a conversation without saying “the”.

Nor does anyone else. Each dip could be the one that takes you down to bagholder hell. That is why you invest in small safe increments with a trailing stop loss order attached, and slowly build it up. I don't start putting in serious money until I get around 30% unrealized gains or so. If the stop loss triggers -- mine is currently at 15% -- you must wait until it recovers to the sell price and begin the entire timid process all over again. I have had to rebuild my stake 3 times now. This takes patience and self discipline, and will also get you denounced as a gigantic pussy by the All In crowd. However, you will (eventually) make gargantuan amounts of money.

Sabotage/subversion are big parts of the rebellion faction already and especially the black sun/criminal faction.
They are adding a deep diplomacy system into the mod for the 3.0 drop, thanks in large part to the developer patching the game in a way that allows modders to make major UI changes.

Do they automate the battles at all? Like in the Total War games, I like taking control sometimes, but sometimes I just want to click "auto" and get back to building and governing.

It wasn't just me who trimmed. I saw the sell wall at $0.20 and was like "time to derisk this". I'm sure others did as well.

Price is settling down now, few days of consolidation and we could be going a lot higher. Would like to see $0.50 by end of summer.

There are basically two stages, kind of like pokemon games.
Galactic map where all the management/ governance and civ building happens, and then space/land battles which are the RTS element. Both allow you to pause time to give orders or build stuff. You can entirely skip the battles with auto-resolve and the game will calculate odds based on which army/fleet is stronger. If you really need to keep a planet you will probably have to manage the battle in RTS.
Otherwise, if you get into a battle you can just ctrl+a and attack-move, hit space bar and watch via cinematic battle camera.

Google fired (transfered out of a useful position) one of their pioneers of search who'd been with the company for decades because he was white and some indian street shitter convinced the street shitter CEO that making search worse would result in more ad views and thus more short term revenue.
Google is going to die.
