US 10 year yield is at a 51 week high.
Bonds are being sold off at a fast pace globally.
Is Trumpy going to release some kind of new later today to bring the yields back down?

What's your strategy? Bonds are becoming worthless.

We're hyperinflating, fixed income isn't attractive at these rates.

That's my worry. What good is a 5% bond when inflation is 8%?

I’m about 50% in bonds just defraying inflation waiting for cheapies like every good bobo. I’ve diversified slightly away from US stocks but the clown parade is still going so I’m still mostly in VOO. I don’t do individual stocks, just indexes. Small crypto bag, not a huge part of my poorfolio

Borrowing money becomes more expensive for the government and for anyone else.
It's bearish short term but the government will print money and buy its own debt to lower the interest rate.
This is very inflationary, so bullish long term imo

Bond yields go up when demand for US debt goes down, which is a bearish indicator. Higher bond yields mean higher borrowing costs for companies, higher mortgage rates, etc. Debt becomes more expensive to finance, which throttles growth down.
