Making predictions on financial markets is inherently retarded, because every one correct is pre and post-dated by 100's of incorrect ones. We want to feel like we understand the topic well enough to make informed decisions (which are mainly guesses). The reality is that Brownian motion cannot be understood, only respected.1 + 1 = 2 on some days and 3 on other days. It's just logical enough to convince people they can understand it, but more often illogical, so they'll lose by playing.
