I've applied so many times for remote AE positions , but they won't hire you unless you have previous AE experience. I might have to start applying to on site roles now which will suck, but at least if they accept me then I'll have some experience

And for that linkedin point, used to work but not anymore because every job posted on there has the stupid "promoted" tag which exposes it to the entire globe of applicants within seconds. Each job posting gets bot applicant flooded within micro seconds. Many of these applicants also have rockstar-tier resumes too so good luck competing against them.tldr; job market is PERMANENTLY fucked, thank AI and globalism for this mess
