Unironically the best investment you can make right now are retro video games.Its the only thing o can think of that has intangible and tangible value. Its not like gold or silver or bitcoin. The further we drift from 1980 and the weirder technology gets the more their value will rise and rise until you're paying 10k for a ps2 game.
Still remember buying a fat original PS2 off a guy on Craigslist for $20 in 2017. It had four freaking controllers and the adapter to hook them all up. Two memory cards. Everything fully loaded. But I was still so paranoid that it wouldn’t work that I asked if I could test it. He met me in a gas station parking lot and hooked it up to the tv built into the back seat of his suv. Shit was cash. Worked great. Played some PS2 back there. All that for fucking $20. Shit was so wild. Like, just think of the time he spent doing all that. Wild how good we had it before memevid. Should have stacked PS2’s to the ceiling like shitcoins back then.
