I know /biz/ is mostly a crypto board (I actually made some money back in 2020 following your advice, so thanks guys!), but I literally have no money to invest right now, and maybe some of you guys know a thing or two about some other stuff and could maybe help me out.I need to get money ASAP. I can speak English and Brazilian Portuguese fluently, so I thought I could get my bilingual skills to use, but it seems every online teaching job is a scam. I also know a bit of Photoshop, but haven't had any success on Fiverr. I thought about getting a gig like Uber or whatever but I don't have a car and renting one would be way too expensive just for a part-time job. I'm a good writer (or so I'm told), and I also have some financial skills from working as a banker. I'm a fine home cook. I have rudimentary C# coding skills.Any ideas for part-time jobs, gigs, businesses, services, products, etc. are all greatly appreciated, online or not. I'll actually tell you guys WHY I'm broke in the first place, and maybe you guys can offer some pointers over that as well.
>I work as a banker. It's decent pay, but I'm no manager or anything, so it's really just upper middleclass salary for a single dude. This is my first actual job. I started it back in 2023 when I was 22. I had to move out of my granny's place at the time. I knew nothing about living alone, and so I "wasted" a lot of money for that first year. I also got a girlfriend like 3 months after getting in town, so of course I spent some cash on dates and whatnot.>In 2024, I financed an apartment. It was a terrible decision. I was actually led to believe that the condo fees were much lower, and that it wasn't a shithole that needed basically everything reformed (I did go check the apartment, but then again, I'm young and retarded). At least I paid relatively cheap for it, and it's quite big and has a great location, but it is still a huge pain in the ass. I got into crippling credit card and loan debt over buying the apartment and other stuff for it.>I got married to my girlfriend last year. I love her of course, but got a prenup regardless. She's getting a degree in veterinary medicine (we live in a city that is close to major cattle ranches, so she'll be working with farms and whatnot). Initially, her family was going to support her education and other stuff, but then they backtracked and are helping with only part of her monthly payments. I actually co-signed her last semester of student debt. She doesn't work at the moment, because everyone wants her full-time and it would conflict with college hours (we're trying to get that degree ASAP). The other option would be for her to get a flexible internship, but where we live, it's literally slavery (like 5$ for a 12h shift). Right now, her job is studying and taking care of our home.
