Shouldn`t ASML had grow more than any other tech stock because they are the bottleneck and can`t be replace by any other?

They make 90% of the machines that make most of the chips and memories fueling the AI boom.
>>
They’re HQ’d in a country that just introduced taxes on unrealized gains.

A lot of institutional investors dont want exposure to the regulatory risks that comes from that kind of retardation.

scam
>>
>>62241900
ASML has clearly chosen to raise prices in line with the machines efficiency gains. they could 100x the price but choose not to.

email ASML and ask them.

It should only affect investors living there.

Could be they sue for failing their fiduciaries duties to their shareholders by not maximizing theirs profits?

>It should only affect investors living there.
The point is that the people who are in charge over there are so terrible at economic policy that it poses a serious future risk to companies that are incorporated there

They can't really charge +20 billion for a high NA EUV machine, no.
They have a very small number of customers and they can very much say no if prices get too high. The depreciation of these machines is one of the most important aspects of the operation of semiconductor fabs
>>
>>62241900
They aren't a current bottleneck, no.
They have a monopoly, yes, on the most important machine in semiconductor fabs, but they make only those. A semi fab has dozens of different high tech machines.
In any case, their machines already are the single largest cost of building a new fab. And customers often just don't buy the latest tech because it's too expensive. Intel didn't buy EUV machines when they were launched in late 2010's. TSMC said they won't buy their high NA EUV machines now because it's not worth the cost.

I work as ASML (NL) and the company is bottlenecked by the amount of talent worldwide. There are all sorts of grants and traineeships and internships here, even for internationals, which is rare in The Netherlands. The problems are:
1. Most "degrees" are utter shit. If it is Dutch/Nordic it is sufficient depending on grades. If it is German/Anglo in 95% of the cases the curriculum or the students are too retarded. If it is like Spanish/French/Italian there is only 1-2% of applicants that are acceptable. Japs/Koreans go to Taiwan/Korea. Chinks are banned. The rest are all dogshit.
2. Most most applicants, even with good grades and good degrees, are brainrotted zoomers. They do not have the capacity to innovate. There is no agency, no self-reflection, or plannign. So they get filtered through the selection process.
3. People that do get through, often fuck off to America. Why stay in The Netherlands and get 5-6keur after 4 years when you can go to the USA and get paid over 120k with ease?
4. Even if you progress to higher salaries, let's say over 100k, then the government will tax you into the ground. From 78k it is a 49,5% income tax rate (exl all other taxes that rape you) So the people that stay at ASML (NL) are typically too lazy to move to America or are forced to work part-time.
5. But what about ASML America? We are forced to send our NL talent to America to keep them in the company. Once we hear a worker bring up ASML America for transfer, we have to create a timeline for them to move otherwise they leave. So the winner after all this is America. It won't surprise me if in the year 2100 of Our Lord 2/3rds of ASML is in the USA
>>
>>62245404
sounds like ASML doesn't offer good incentives to attract talent.
you'd think that ASML executives would understand that people who devote themselves to higher education and difficult curriculum expect to be paid more than 5-6keur (especially if theyre working on the most important product of the century)
they deserve to lose talent at the fastest rate possible.
>>
>>62245431
The problem isn't attracting talent, there just isn't enough in it in the world. Every retard in this country and abroad is applying thinking he has a shot. You can get an internship, grant, work-student ship, traineeship all with more perks than any other company.
Also that 5-6k p/m is after 3-4 years. Starting is more like 4200-4800 depending your skillset. (So this is after 5-6 years of studying). 6k is considered a very high salary in the netherlands, modal income is only 48k.
>>
>>62241900
They can't scale their production enough to meet demand. They're limited and bottle necked.
>>
>>62241927
Box 3 is a tax on private wealth, not corps. It's not introduced yet either, and will be amended.
>>
>>62245404
Why not move all ASML to America? Why stay in Netherlands? They would pay almost no taxes there and the salaries would be 3x.
>>
>>62245404
in 2100 the usa will be in a much worse position than it is now due to the loss of power of the dollar. wealth will be spread out better, and people who stick in NL have a chance to be autistic and curious which is good, the most intelligent employees are not necessarily those who are attracted to money.
it seems your selection process isn't good enough or you're not looking well enough. high amount of retards applying =/= bottleneck of talents

>>offer them shitty noncompetitive salary
the salary is higher than any other company for the same experience.
We do not have problems with attracting employees. The problem is there is simply not enough talent across the world. Learn to read. Every EE or whatever graduate in STEM wants to work for us. The lower tier non uni jobs are always filled with native EU/Dutch supply that is not an issue.
>>62245921
The supply chain is in Europe.

The Old Ceo of ASML Peter Wennink was asked by the previous mongoloid <1 year government of Wilders to write a report on what policies to enact to make The Netherlands flourish.
Now with that cabinet having been nuked by Wilders, this brilliant report will be ignored. Criticised by economically illiterate left wingers as just some "ebil Ceo wishlist", it dared to suggest lowering taxes and creating a healthy business climate for growth and warned that the public sector without these measures would come under pressure.

There is not enough talent across the world **willing to work for such low compensation**.
>am I offering non-competitive salary?
>no, it's the missing talent across the world
You're literally trying to seethe and cope why talented candidates avoid your country. If you offered better money the talent would come, simple as.

>>
>>62241900
No. Silicon is almost maxed out and fabs will be killing moores law with wha they already have. They wont need to buy new machines at some point very soon. The company is also very retarded outside of the rnd principles. Nobody else stays in a position long enough to be good at their job. It all exists because of subsidy.
>>
>>62241927
This seriously paints a negative future for the netherlands. They might start turning into the UK 2.0.
