Hello to everyone, I am 28 y.o who cant understand how its possible to buy a flat/house in current economy. All of us need to live somewhere its obvious but why should we pay so much for the house that has been built in 70-80 and cost 4x lower than today. Logically item's quality goes down with the time even if you fixing a lot, its natural life cycle but in case of housing we all agree with the current prices and speculations of the big capitals (elites). Is it a problem to build new houses? No. The same issue was in history in the past especially after the 2 war. Government could afford to build enough houses, its so fucking crazy that in Bcn you can buy such house but its gonna cost you an arm and leg. So the problem of developing new houses is so artificial and big capital is playing with house prices while we cant even afford our BASIC needs. What shall we do with it? cooperate and demand

People will get exorbitant high interest loans and adjusted mortgages they can't pay.Nowadays a couple who separately make $50k annually will get together and co-sign on a $300k home that is really worth less $200k.The elites know they can just do this freely and without any restraint but eventually this whole system will fully collapse. Anyway people who lived 10 years with parents still cant afford to buy a flat/house in Spain for example. Just stupid plan of destroying affordable housing by elites makes me angry about it all.
