I think the economy is completely fine and people just don't know how to spend their money
I hate boomers but when I hear about some millennial complaining about being broke then see them go on a trip or buy doordash it makes it extremely hard for me to sympathize with them at all

getting door dash or a muffin from starbucks makes no difference when you get paid 20 an hour and rent for a 1bed1bath is 2k.
>>
>>62242792
If you live with your parents life is great
>>
>>62242792
>I think the economy is completely fine
you might be retarded
>>
>>62242795
it very much does, in fact it hits much harder when you have a low income, what the fuck are you on about?

Especially when it's Americans complaining, they're the most pampered people on the earth.
It seems there's been a kind of comfort inflation where people see all this stuff like new phones, travel, big weddings, new clothes etc. as a right when it used to be rare. Humans are just wired to see wealth as a comparison rather than a state of being.

401k and food stamps don't exist in America you're so right sister

>getting door dash or a muffin from starbucks makes no difference
If you get a doordash every day that's easily $20 per day or more.
20x5x52 for 1x per weekday is $5200.
That's more than my wife spent on her used car and car insurance combined.
I unironically know people in their 20's who order Doordash regularly but say they can't afford a car.

>here goy take YOUR OWN money and slap it into a plan where zogsteins will collect a premium every month and when you cash it out youll be taxed at standard income rate not even LTCG
>also you're only limited to these 40 funds with 3x the cost of a standard ETF
>>
>>62242792
4chan users are mostly fixed-income so being frugal makes sense

but for most people frugality is poverty mentality because they're capable of making more money. Trying to get an autistic person on welfare to understand this is a losing game though.
>>

That's not how a 401k works you retard, where the hell do you get your information from?
>>
>>62242792
You're unironically correct but only Jews have realized this so you're basically outing yourself Moshe
>>
>>62242996
Thats exactly how a 401k works rabbi
>>
>>62243117
he stated multiple things about a 401k and only got the tax part right, I wouldn't really call that "exactly right"
if someone says leprachauns are real and the sky is blue they aren't "exactly right" they're just retarded
>>
>>62243182
Yes anon you are limited to a subset of investments in A LOT of 401k plans and generally get a (((recordkeeping))) fee quarterly

The benefit is the match $$$ can be pretty good.
>>
>>62243199
never encountered either, have you tried not working for a synagogue?
>>
>>62243202
This is literally on fidelity lol and personally I have three 401k accounts from various employers all the same shit.

I also have a HSA and that niggershit is even worse. They charge a record keeping fee of 0.03% monthly
>>
>>62243209
rollover into an IRA for past employers to avoid the fees
>>
>>62242792
And I think you're full of shit, but neither of our thoughts matter when faced with reality.
>>
>>62242792
You're a fucking retard then.
>>
>>62242985
>Being capable of making more money means you should spend beyond your means
What a retard lmao.
>>
>>62242839
>it used to be rare
>then it became commonplace
>now it's becoming rare again
ergo things are getting worse and not better. am i misunderstanding something here?

people who borrow are wealthier on average than this board

the only question is if they're wealthier BECAUSE they borrow or not. And that depends on the person.
>>
>>62242792
I don't respect anybody that complains about anything. I only make exceptions for people that get diseases that they really couldn't control, like cancer, or a baby born with some fucked up illness, or people that are involved in accidents they couldn't have avoided, like a drunk driver hitting them, or those weird videos where a guy is pumping gas and a fucking tire from a truck comes flying off the street and hits them.

The people I have the LEAST amount of sympathy for are fat people and people complaining about their student loan debt. Fuck you, live with the consequences of your stupid decisions. The new Doomer grift is in full effect online. It's so pathetic.

My dude, most country, and particularly the United States, was built by, and for gasoline.

You really think the price of crude doubling isn't a fucking problem?
