I dont get the argument that american gen z are poor because they eat out.People in china literally dont cook at home and eat out 3 meals a day every single day. Same in every single asian country like Thailand, Vietnam and what not

Food is honestly pretty cheap, especially in bulk. The big overhead in a restaurant is the usual parasitic crap like rent, taxes, and insurance. I doubt such things are nearly as bad in the east, so they can sell prepared food closer to the ingredient cost without ending up underwater.
