I like owning a home and I view it as a diversified part of my wealth portfolio, but make no mistake at least over the last 15 years or so simply investing in stocks has been a much better vehicle for building wealth, even in the best markets. But I enjoy working on my house, I enjoy knowing I can do whatever the fuck I want to it whenever I want. I am the master of my domain.
