desu could have also been because of there simply being too many retail calls. I always try to look at whatever data is publicly available on retail call volumes because institutions/whales love to liquidate retail if they're too short or long. Opex is also a bad time, february, may/june and august/september also tends to have a lot of profit taking. There's also the possibility they released some bad news like forward guidance for the rest of the year is underperform.
we should just get rid of earnings entirely unless companies want to show off
