Reminder that AI is the biggest revolution since electricity. Bears are going to BTFO, like always.https://youtube.com/shorts/dH4gxobvr9I
>>62348580>>62348562The way I see it the majority of people haven't actually done any work with the big models, they got everyone hooked and rebuilding their workflows around them when token cost was basically a flat subscription model. They have now shifted to a price per token model after software companies already fired everyone and are now dependent, which seems pretty fucking bullish
>>62348597the second ring of insiders will get all the shares at a fair price you'll get to buy their bags and hope theres more idiots. im pro SpaceX this is just reality. the system is rigged against the people
Forever war here we come. The stock market losses are whatever. The gad riots and supply chain collapse are now my concern.
>>62348606So should I be holding onto my AI stocks and ETFs in hopes that they go up again eventually? Preferably sometime before retirement in 30+ years?

>>62348606I just had a flashback to the 1990s... I was young as shit and I remember adults were passing around this dancing baby in emails and showing off how cool computers were or whatever... its 2026 and now you are showing a cute baby to show how cool computers are...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancing_baby>The "Dancing Baby", also called "Baby Cha-Cha" or "the Oogachacka Baby", is an internet meme of a 3D-rendered animation of a baby performing a cha-cha type dance. It quickly became a media phenomenon in the United States and one of the first viral videos in 1996.[1]we are literally back to square one of the retarded computer hype cycle

>>62348660The goal isn't be made to work financially, it's to profit. If revenue and earnings are down more than what AI saves from having to rely on AI, it goes.

>>62348606i'm an AI bull. i fully trust the market to keep pumping the AI stocks irrationally. line WILL go up and i'll make my best attempt at trying to prune my holdings here and there for cash, but i am fully aware that this shit will collapse overnight with no recourse for people like me. AI is fake and gay, but i can't deny that the line is going up and is projected to keep going up at least in the medium term. the first real test of AI bubble will be gayseX IPO. if the market continues to bubble, then the next tests will come in the form of OpenAI and Anthro Pics.

>ai needs le consumer to be profitableno it doesn't. there's this thing called the government that takes like 30% of gdp and spends it on what it wants. there are entire sectors of the stock market that only serve the government as a customer. how many missiles get sold to consumers or businesses? 0. they all get sold to the government but nobody is making memeposts about "LOL the tomahawk missile is unaffordable to the average wagie, they'll never make it XD"

>>62348716Your answer for AI profitability is for it to be a govt contractor?

I have lost so much money in the past month I don't know what I'm gonna do. If my stocks don't go back up I'm gonna ropemaxx. Every day I'm at the edge of my seat waiting for the price to go back up but it only goes further down. People like me shouldn't be allowed to touch a mouse or keyboard, they should hire a helper to do it for me to prevent me from making catastrophic decisions. I gained so much previous to this that I got addicted and now I'm down so far I don't know what to do other than stare at my screen every day. Being a bagholder is the ultimate suffering.
>>62348683that's a much more reasonable position than the last threadi do think we could easily have another year of this crapor it could pop by christmasit will only take one really bad week for everyone to publish>see ai bubble pop!!!and then it becomes true

>>623487022030 is only 4 years away. It took uber like a decade+ to turn a profit, and that required FAR less up front investment than AI for a much more direct to consumer product
I'm really stressed out bros. I sold a lot of green stocks. But I went harder on some calls then I realized. Idk where all my money is. For sndk and mu will probably start pumping again next week and I'm going to fucking cry. What do I deploy my cash in now? Maybe I should just focus on my legal practice because I'm gonna be stuck doing that shit forever.
>>62348730People are far from dependent on the dogshit code and dogshit apps and other such outputs AI provides If anyone is actually dependent on it at this point, they were mediocre to begin with and deserve to be replaced.

>>62348753I dunno boss. I work in software and nobody’s been replaced yet.
>>62348727i am almost tempted to just drop my positions and put all of my money in the hands of a wealth management firm, hopefully one with enough connections. when this shit pops, institutional investors are the only ones with the manpower to mitigate the damages while retail gets their throats cut wide open. and let's not forget, they're often the ones with insider information. the rest of us get jack and shit.
>>62348660I think the natural order of things is for upstarts that make it possible to run good but perhaps a little shittier models in house that are good enough. Look at the “cloud”. AWS and Azure got so expensive that it’s making more fanciacial sense to run your own racks and datacenters in house. The amount of money that would jump on this makes it too juicy for the market to work on
>>62348714I was always on the cutting edge back when it was cool and new and we thought it was going to be something. Me and my dad built home computers and we would get excited as fuck when the new more powerful cards would come out and we could upgrade. I grew up gaming competitively and played shit like counterstrike at a semi pro level and starcraft etc. the possibility seemed real that tech was going somewhereits 2026 the most played games in the world are still shit like counterstrike and GTA that have been out for fucking decades. no one makes anything new. no one makes anything better. new movies suck, new games suck, new books suck. there have been zero significant advances or meaningful improvements for decades. everything is fake and gay and they just slap some new branding on some old bullshit and resell it to schmucks. third worlders shitting in the street in India are using the same smartphones as Americans and the only thing more efficient is access to pornography and the hot new thing is to give all of your money to a snake oil salesman that said in 2016 that he was sending a mission to Mars by 2022
>>62348664>>62348659what you should ask is at what point is shit actually overvalued. For companies like google, their cloud and AI departments are the most profitable for the company. OpenAI sucks but they're a pure AI play and have billions in profit there.Hardware buildouts like semis and dram are supposed to be cyclical. Semis have been going up for 4 years relentlessly now, dram for about a year. At what point does supply exceed demand? But more importantly at what point does their growth in profits become outstripped by their marketcap and become dramatically overvalued?Ask yourself- if SK Hynix collapses 90% tomorrow, is that just a recession for South Korea or a real depression?
>>62348762SpaceX has evolved to stay on the cutting edge. They sell data center access to Google for billions. They've positioned themselves to be at the heart of the most lucrative industries possible.

>>62348766ok grok, tell me why they're renting out compute capacity when their AI is supposedly on the cutting edge. shouldn't they need that compute for themselves?
>>62348759over the past week or so we have been seeing a migration from tech into other areas and it's always the giants which make these defensive moves firstit's not a sudden switch: they are either moving in or out of a sector and it swung to out last week
>>62348768Yes data centers make no money they give it to Google for free. Nobody invests in space stocks they are worthless. >>62348743You literally just gotta be retarded, and we must be in a bull market. I wasn't paying attention to stocks for years until around may 10th. I did "research" for a few hours and felt the vibes were good, and just yolod literally everything I had into MU and MRVL and almost doubled my money in 3 weeks. Sold last week.People much smarter than me likely performed way worse.
>>62348925the narrative this year I've seen is that goyim are running out of tax refund money already so its time to start rugging because they cant slurp anymore
>>62348923Mainly VOO. I boomer max about 90% of my portfolio with passive investing and gamble with around 10% max at any given time. I settled for a loss on my meme calls because Monday was super weak, and it seemed like the big boys flipped the script on the hike narrative. I still think we could see 8000 on SPX by the end of the year, but I'm not going to hold calls while I wait for the market to start going up again.
>>62348927going to be fun figuring out what to do with these when the demand for cumpute doesn't materializeif they get built, of course

Just send the troops down. Burn it all down. Trump should fucking proud of himself. Worst part is knowing how much fucking richer him and his family are getting right now while we're all getting dicked down and goo'd up and gaped out

I pray for one big exit pump just to have bobo get his balls crushed by a hydraulic press
>>62348954MU pumping after hours
Had I just been watching the markets I could've exited close to breakeven earlier today. But nooooo I didn't. I hate myself! Right there was the exit I was looking for but nope, exit was barely even active and by the time I checked it was gone. I could've taken a bigger loss and then the window of opportunity would've been wider but nope. I really hate when it happens like that where the very opportunity I am looking for is just barely there which I believe has happened to me in the past. I'm so pissed, I could have exited but by market close I was down even further. I'll probably be 5 figures away from breakeven tomorrow. I hate myself! Had I just watched the market the entire 6 hours and 30 minutes it is open, then I'd have exited my positions in the nick of time and could've just stopped watching. I really, really hate how much I have to babysit my portfolio/stocks just to either sell where I want or buy where I want. It's not always enough to set limit orders because sometimes the situation may entail a different choice. At least I'm not all in. But this really sucks!

>>62348940Slow and steady wins the race to FIRE and I wish you all the best my smegro. But that type of investing doesn't get my dick hard and I already have too much money for one lifetime so I will keep gambling 100% of my port.I hate to say it but your sentiment is giving me bottom signals, exactly as Nikkei & Kospi seem to have double bottomed and bouncing and US futes looking a lil green.I think we all survived the great crash of June 26, lets hope and pray to Vishnu that we get as lucky in the great crash of September 26.

>>62348476 >Permabulls dumb >Making hand over fist money. Its a good post, you got the hammer right on the nail. >but earnings growth earnings have grown and valuations reflect that in anticipating that growth into perpetuity The issue is it keeps going up. They keep being right, and you kerp saying 2 more weeks. When it crashes it will 100% be this but litterally who knows when or even if. I hot an econ degree snd everything's in cycles but I hsve never seen sn earnings growth cycle paper. I believe we are in new territory as its never gone up this hard this long before. Demands gone up and fallen, valuations have gone up and fallen, but specifically earnings growth in a pattern outside the economy?

Jesus christ why is memory pumping. I could have had more gains. I gotta not regret not taking profit but fuck man
Hey, here's something fun I found from a few years ago. I made some picks (but didn't really execute on them) back then and you can see how well they've performed since. The average of all my picks had an alpha of about 0.50 - half the gains the SPY would've had. Even my best pick, CMRX, was acquired last year and had 340% return since 2022, but an alpha of only 4.1.If you were a bit of a memester and bought SOXL or NVDA and held it for 4 years, you made absolute fucking bank. Even a 6x from 2022 to peak, crypto and metals lagged behind those picks entirely

>>62348999Ive been talking to a lot of buddies who've all made it. They are all on the boghlehead train. They just look at all the time and effort to perform worse than the market.I get their sentiment but think it needs leverage, but I am starting to think going 1/3 voo, 1/3 SSO, going 1/3 tqqq is the answer.
>>62348975I almost wrote a capstone paper on how communities like this board, the bitcoin scene and wallstreetbets are more of a profession of one's political ideology than anything else when you take out the obvious gambling aspect. Iran was firing so many shaheds at the gulf the other day one of them slammed into an apache in the airspace above the hormuz. Whole time trump was acting like nothing happened just to keep the market solvent. And still, there are people (few now, but they were the majority even a year ago) in these communities who will gladly throw their entire port away if it means not compromising their values. You fucking formed an identity based around a transhumanist fantasy that was never going to happen in the first place. That fantasy was created to sell graphics cards after blender and video games stopped demanding higher specs from them. You had so little going on in your personality this fantasy became an obsession and now you actually think we're gonna make parity with a sentient biological organism by stacking NVIDIA products on top each other in a closet. You shouldn't have tied it to your gambling addiction. Probably a software engineer
