you diversify and don't sell
the market takes people like you got a ride. There's a million others just like you that we're making alpha off of.

in the near term, markets are zero sum. to make money, you have to take it from someone else. You can get gains from growth but that happens over a longer period of time, a year at minimum unless there's a surprise in earnings. Markets right now are basically priced several years out to earnings.

earnings are concentrated in tech and are largely fabricated.

>meta gives 100 billion to google
>Google gives 100 billion to amazon
>Amazon gives 100 billion to oracle
>oracle gives 100 billion to meta
>yay we made 400 billion

its even funnier because most of the "future revenue" they are pricing in is in the form of non binding lease agreements for data centers that can be terminated at will.. so this shit isn't even guaranteed by they have already priced it in and then they price in forward growth based on current shit that isn't even guaranteed to be realized to begin with

anyways probably +40% QQQ and 6% inflation next year nothing matters just vibes

The traditional answer is that pre-market/futures are institutions and then retail sees what happened overnight and comes flailing in. Then everyone makes decisions based on levels/flows/etc after they develop in the first hour.

the ipo deadline already passed, and it was massively oversubscribed. the capital has already been allocated and a ton isn't going to be placed. they could fund all the major ipo's with the capital that was left out.

I'm also beginning to like consumer staples at this point. Things like pernod ricard and brown-forman are battered, trading near 8%. Also heed caution on base metal/copper trades short-medium term, it's unwinding along with semis and the AI datacenter bubble popping.
>>62351260
Get out of semis.

Not sure if your theory is sound. But if it was. I’d wait for some end game to the Hormuz crisis. It’s about 2 months away. At a guess.

If inflation happens, bond rates go up, gold goes down. If inflation happens and bond rates dont ho up you are correct, but that is unlikely.
If you are that much into hold you should look at the relationship to bond rates. Also leverage would get 2x 3x the inflation so...

They don't sell rockets, so your premise is retarded. The rockets are what enable the other future business endeavors,

They aren't in the military imaging business. There's an entire gov't agency in charge of that. They launch some of those satellites if thats what you meant.

the semis/DRAM run isn't over, there's still a huge memory shortage and every company is still pushing AI crap. I'm guessing this AI bubble wont crash at least until after Anthropic and OpenAI are listed, maybe even a bit later.

Yeah, there's no money in that at all.

Yeah I think a lot of people have similar stories. My father owned a couple of golf courses at one point and went to sell one, to an Indian family of course, anyway it’s a really long drawn out process as one can imagine since it’s such a big purchase, but during the time my Dad bought a bunch of fertilizer anticipating the business would need it for the upcoming season, long story short they disputed it or something in the contract through some loophole and stuck my dad for like 20k. They’re a whole race of scammers and fraudsters it doesn’t matter if the Indian is a cab driver or CEO he’ll try to pull something over on you.

Well wouldn't it be nice to make money to be able to escape that prison cell, eh? Throw away my phone, throw away my computer, travel the world on my own schedule or buy a huge patch of land in the country and just retreat there.

If rates go up. There will be a crisis in the banks and private credit. The Fed is stuck. The whole thing is so leveraged on low rates. It will blow up on spiking rates.

Look. No matter which way you look at it. It always ends up the SAME WAY. They print their way out. That’s why hard assets make sense.

As for AI? In these scenarios. Equities with no positive cash flow usually die. There’s two many AI companies. One way or another. Most will simply have to die. Now that’s a big risk if you don’t pick the right one.

Theres no way out. It will all end in massive printing and M2 increase. Which is the cause of inflation. Increasing the money supply.

There may be twists and turns but that’s where we are heading.

really? that's a pretty weak false flag.

No official date yet, probably sometime this autumn. No earlier than September, I'd say. I have a feeling the powers at be wont let AI and tech crash at least until then.

The liquidity just isn't there to support the hype, and the hype is clearly dying. Companies everywhere are beginning to complain about AI bills and are having actual crises with code quality control. Trump sold his longs and isn't afraid to utilize the cushion Bessent built in the index for more escalation.

all the tech CEO's have the ear of the president, there's no way on earth OpenAI or Anthropic will take those massively reduced valuations before they even go public.
It's not to say it's impossible for the bubble to crash before then, or even for certain companies to crash before then, but it seems awfully unlikely to me.

And also. Given the fucking market is propped up with leveraged low interest money from Asia. Rates going up will force a wave of selling when those get margin called.

Everything is LEVERAGED. And I mean mega. 10x 20x. 50x in the basis trade. Just a small rate hike blows this up. The real rate of returns have to be parabolic to justify the risk to begin with. So a crabbing market or slowly rising one is poison to those trades.

Its just what I said to an Anon yesterday. We both know bonds are fucked, and the bond vigilantes should have been active years ago. Problem is people have been saying thst gor 17 years well untold fortunes have been made. Even though its a real monster in the corner, Ive learned your better off the join the delusion it does not exist. Which sounds really stupid, but not buying SOXL at $7 has been shown to be stupider.

Nobody is buying the 30Y! Look at where they are rolling over the trillion maturing this year. It’s all at the short end. And that’s the only thing they control. Now if they raise that! National debt percentage repayments start heading to death spiral.

It’s called a debt trap for a reason.

Israel is a stronger interest.
Please just see it for what it is. Models are almost fungible now. China is on path to also make AI hardware fungible. Companies will transition to running 'good enough' models locally. All the while CEOs are currently shilling "tokenmaxxing" in pure desparation

No one with the IQ above 110 interacts with these current gen leading edge chat bots and thinks this is industry is worth the gorillions of dollars it is.

Take this from someone who basically full-ported MRVL in 2020 and Nokia when Pekka Lundmark took the helm.
