I posted this sector chart last night and concluded that of the sector etfs, there was not really any reason to rotate between sectors over the last 5 years; XLK (tech) was the place to be. I don't know if this data is accurate because of the modern markets and frenzy. Within that slice however, I learned a little bit more today...You can see that in general terms, SOXL had a massive profit factor vs the index (spy), and nearly 6x as much alpha as XLK. However, look at the "span" field, which is the range of how much it overperformed / vs underperformed the index. 3.3, which implies extreme volatility and even looking back it was underperforming for most of those 5 years, and suddenly in the last 3 months, a very small amount of time, it became extremely profitable.However, looking at QQQ, you can see it sports good alpha and less volatility
