>>
>>62379709
When I saw this I got sus others would follow suit. And then not even a month later a second company announces the same thing. I cannot risk leveraging up as hard anymore, this just feels way too fucking stupid when not all of these AI companies will win. What happens once a few winners are chosen? Ram, gpus, cpus, none of that is staying expensive when demand suddenly drops. Once that happens we may even get a chart similar to SOXL's April-mid May chart but instead of being up literally every week, it'll be down every week. No thanks I am not going to be left the bagholder.

>>62379752
>$400k
Aren't there safer moves you can make with that level of wealth? The manipulation they did with oil was very off putting and seemed way too high risk to trade if they can just dump it on a whim. If I were you Id seriously consider just going cash for several months and if a stock market crash occurs swoop in and buy otherwise wait, relax, and then come back without having a mindset of needing to make it back and taking high risk.

How much do you have left?

HRTX if you want to risk it. It was getting shorted to hell for 5 years because of its cancer research. I held as long as I could before I gave up of ever lowering my average. Can't buy back in again for another year or 2. But if you want to take on holding onto the debt torch until it turns things around. Very cheap right now. Or you could wait for a short seller to buy back in for a quick buck. They are still doing it unfortunately.

I genuinely don't get even bothering with SPCX. Elon could just say some stupid shit and completely wipe you out, calls or puts. The market is retarded and doesn't make any sense but it's undeniable when either trump or elon says dumb things it rocks the market

You’re an idiot then. The normal response to a single ambiguous word is “wtf are you trying to say/ask?”, and for other words it does that. But for any word adjacent to trannies, Grok is so heavy-handedly and clumsily alignment-tuned and RLHF’d that it just instantly launches into the hardcoded response. They intentionally lobotomized the model to short-circuit at any mention of trannies.

Wait for MSFT. They're currently cleaning house with their vidya studios. Double Fine and Ninja Theory are being gutted, Blizzard is getting scrutinized, and Bethesda will be wiped of anyone not currently working on TES and Fallout. All of them have not released a commercial hit in years.
The future of Xbox hangs in the balance.

It's not just that though. They made some weird strategic decisions about Xbox, especially on exclusivity of games, and those were calls were from Phil Spencer. He was not DEI. Though it's always unclear how much he was making decisions vs implementing them from higher up. It's possible the new Pajeeta (who is a bit cute, ngl) might do better just by dealing with the low hanging fruit problems. I'm a bit skeptical longer term though, since she apparently has no real background in gaming at all.

I mean at the end of the day the big issue is they are a gaming company that makes money from selling games. I get the exclusive point, that's a good point actually, but they are sitting on mega IP's like Halo and all of ActivBlizzard and just doing nothing with it. Despite being a multi trillion dollar company

Just go make WoW 2 or something ffs

I posted this sector chart last night and concluded that of the sector etfs, there was not really any reason to rotate between sectors over the last 5 years; XLK (tech) was the place to be. I don't know if this data is accurate because of the modern markets and frenzy. Within that slice however, I learned a little bit more today...

You can see that in general terms, SOXL had a massive profit factor vs the index (spy), and nearly 6x as much alpha as XLK. However, look at the "span" field, which is the range of how much it overperformed / vs underperformed the index. 3.3, which implies extreme volatility and even looking back it was underperforming for most of those 5 years, and suddenly in the last 3 months, a very small amount of time, it became extremely profitable.

However, looking at QQQ, you can see it sports good alpha and less volatility

Basically Japan tried for 40 years to cause inflation because in their round about western inspired logic if there is inflation people won't just let their cash sit in savings and they will spend it and that's the best way to grow the economy.

Not, you know, giving relief to the consumer or promoting family values etc. etc. but just causing inflation.

And then after finally getting inflation after 40 years they realized inflation hurts really bad and they are desperately trying to strengthen their currency.

JPY was kept artificially low because they knew they could pay a small interest rate differential on the carry trade (primarily USDJPY) and then they put their money into foreign investment. It's like how being a fucking leaf, I can pop my money in USD-backed indexes and get good returns, on top of my currency getting shit on

So during 2022 and half of 2023 when the market was in a slump, XLE (energy) ended up being the better place to be. So between a tech etf (eg QQQ, XLK, SOXL, depending on how much leverage you want) and then rotating to energy during a slump, seems to be the best approach
