I've noticed this which is why I suggest creating your own ETF by simply buying snxx, muu, stxx and wdcx. the foreign memory chips don't beat those four and do the opposite of diversify as they're the most volatile. there's literally no reason to buy dram whatsoever, ever.
>>
I bought WEN ay 8.5. Pray for me
>>
only too late did I realize if I had just continually set my MUU buy 30% from whatever the price was when it was at a daily top, it would buy that price when it fell and then setting a sell at 80% up would net me 80% in profit each time.

Well, you can try other semis/gookstock. I myself waited for MU dip also, but I wasn't invested/didn't sell, so I don't mind mind that much even if I missed the bottom dip, but it likely means that we'll keep ripping sooner, rather than later, which is a possitive sign.

Sometimes, it's beneficial to see if fundamentals have really changed. It's rare for things to recover once people panic sale AFAIK, but with AI-related stocks, it has been the case, even if it's a month later. Though, locking in profits before the dip would have netted massive gains. The ability to see a massive crash coming or when the bottom is in is a really hard skill to learn. Maybe RSI helps? I don't know.

you should take that first word out of your vocabulary first of all, and you should be less cynical. high returning investments have high volatility, the two go hand in hand, and you should know by now that price is a different thing altogether than the underlying asset and it's quality. you've missed a lot of gains being this way but it's not too late. if you would open your mind and reflect a little bit you could do a lot better and you wouldn't have to spend so much time convincing yourself you're smarter than people doing better than you, you could instead do well yourself and feel good inside like i know you want to.

If you don't know what to pick I'd just dump everything into SGRT. It's based on earnings growth momentum and it rebalances monthly. So no matter what you will always have the top earnings growth potential stocks. This means you always have the current winners. You can't do better than that without micromanaging everything and really knowing what you're doing.

well bud, here's the thing. the fact that you're participating in the stock market means you understand and accept the risks. that includes 2008-tier risks.
you can't claim to be afraid of drawdown risks while doing stock picks at the same time. those two are fundamentally contradictory. you will NEVER be able to mitigate drawdowns if you're sitting on single stocks. you won't even get to index parity no matter what you do.

so, what's it gonna be? do you want unrealistic annualized returns? then like that other guy said, gamble away: but don't complain about the risks. do you want safer returns? you gotta give up some of those returns, buddy.

Bonds and the dollar are risk off assets.

You buy bonds when you're scared of holding stocks.

Bonds made huge single day gains today on memory fears.

MU came out supposedly amazing, yet bonds did not move at all, in fact the mooned more.

This is letting you know: Big money? They are still bearish. They are still dumping.

You can pump MU to get baggies to cash you out.
All it takes is a few billion, and fanaticism takes over, especially one loss chasing behavior is in play.

Many retards here will soon buy the top trying to get back to their max seen a few days ago, at higher volumes than ever, enough to totally cash out active investors prior to collapse.

If MU had actually been well recieved by people with money to move markets, bonds would be down, the dollar would have fallen.
Neither of these things happened.

Apples and oranges here. Semis are rising due to it being a bottlenecked product on manufacturer's side. One company confirming that the bottleneck isn't easing and they're increasing margins and revenue heavily implies that the same will apply to other companies in the sector as increasing supply takes generally a lot of time to accomplish. It's just basic supply and demand.

McDonalds and fast food aren't the same kind of company. You can generally substitute food with other kinds of food and anyone can start opening burger flipping business fairly easily. Producing semiconductors isn't nearly as easy to get off, so the demand is much more difficult to cover by increasing supply. If McDonald's soar it's likely due to people wanting McDonald's in particular, not due to wider market background, so it won't translate to other companies within the sector. Companies would take chips from other companies if they could, but they just can't, because there aren't any, so they're force to take them from the current suppliers, impacting the whole sector instead of a singular company.

I already know why companies grouped under semiconductors make money. That doesn't explain whatsoever why micron having a big day flips the entire market. The reasonable explanation is it's utter fake bullshit is actually why. And yes my comparison is the exact same. Both are in the same sector just like sat Micron and QCOM. But then there's sectors within sectors and the two are completely unrelated when you drill down further yet QCOM for some mysterious reason went from -3% at close to +12% ah with no reasonable explanation beyond "lol cuz micron" which is quite literally absolutely braindead retarded bullshit that can only exists in the most fragile fake and gay market of all time.
>>
>>62409825
The actions of the market may well be as you describe. But Micron's earnings are increasing 3x faster than the price of the stock, and that is not hype or speculation. It is raw money.
>>
>>62409825
nevermind, qcom is pamping because they wanna enter datacenters (again (for the 3rd time now?)) and is expected to sell fuckton of snackdragons

>Qualcomm (QCOM) stock jumped more than 13% in after-hours trading after the company said it raised its non-handset revenue target to $40 billion by fiscal 2029, twice its previous goal. The figure includes an anticipated $15 billion in new data center revenue.

>The announcement came during the company's investor day event in New York on Wednesday, where it outlined plans for a variety of data center products, including chips, servers, software, and custom processors.

I'd love that, though I'd bet more on alternative AI models making components less important first, but we shall see. Nothing is too likely to change for the upcoming months though, maybe even years if we're unlucky. Hell, maybe China pulls the trigger on Taiwan and then things get much worse from now.

The point is, AI companies have had enough.

They are going their own way, designing their own chips and components.

This is what will be on the "MARKETS DUMP ON SURPRISE X" banner will say on the bloomberg headline.

Do what yall want im tired of trying to shill the truth, no one wants to buy.
You baggies are going to go plunging head first into the lava clutching your precious, laughing all the way down, then you'll be here bitching about the jews or the glowies.

Just remember when you get licked: you were warned.
You have not a single person who is responsible for losing everything besides you.
You knew there was not much more upside, but you just had to have that extra 15%, and its cost you the entire 240% you were up.

I believe in Micron and semis m8 that's not the point. Why do I have to trade on utter bullshit tho?

in 9/10 cases ppl would be right to be here.

unfortunately, in this particular case they are buying into the bait and switch of the decade over the next 2 days.

The market is now primed for holds, so anything below expectations, even at expectations will lead to a pump because the market will immediately start pricing in cuts again. For the market to think Warsh will pull through with holding and not cut, the data has to be worse (higher) than expected.
