I saw that a lot of precious metal companies are a hassle tax wise, so I figured how about I just money into these ETFs? Gemini said both are fine. But I check closer and it was fucking lie! Both have a "chance" of forcing PFIC reporting requirements. Then I try asking what if I sell it before any sort of dividend or distribution occurs but apparently the act of simply selling it counts. But then apparently a short term hold (under a year) means I won't be needing a PFIC form and can just file normally like all my other stock and option related gains would. Fuck this shit is confusing. Though I quickly learned a lot of gold and silver based stocks are a real pain in the ass. PFICs seem like just a way to discourage foreign investing.Now I have to check if my rare earth metal/mineral ETFs have the same bullshit. What if there is other stuff doing that too? If I want to trade gold and silver I may have to just deal with the ones that require reporting it as a collectible but even that sounds like a hassle.

To achieve the current spend they used all their free cash flow, issued debt(Including 100 year bonds) and even a share offering($80 billion worth) to fund their capex for this year, are they really going to do that for again next year?
