Then, this week, I decided to take the easy path and tried prediction markets. I was really confident about England winning this world cup. 15k to England winning Argentina. And my last 10k to England winning the world cup. Everything was going great until Argentina scored 2 goals in the last minutes.I had 95k in January. 2 days ago I lost it all. For an easy example a stock dropping 34% in one day and does a 10x the next day leaves a non leveraged person quite well off but fucks you to 0 if your 3x leveraged. Obviously such spikes wont happen on any normal stock but the principle remains the same.
