I think he will try - He knows what his options are, and one of those options is to sell state assets to anyone who will buy them at a discount rate.

National parks and their untapped resources are part of what falls under "the balance sheet" for bessent, as much as do currency, treasuries, or the magic gold exchange machine in Fort Knox. Capital will rotate out of big business and private entities to bail out the state in exchange for massive amounts of what was public property.

- They can't let the economy enter too much of a stagnation, it might cause social change. We already see the fear of this in the media - the anti-flock and anti-data centre movements, people are ready to blow and it's not getting better.

- They can't just print more money, both because the executive branch doesn't have the strict ability to do that and because they don't have control over the budget legally anymore, and they're already heavily in debt.

How do they get the cash needed to support the yen? They sell parts of the state. Is there enough to quickly sell to pay off the debt? No, but it will keep the party going.

If it blows out? Then if you're wealthy, who cares? As long as your money is in a hard asset, you can turn around and buy up the now insolvent state for pennies on the dollar, appearing as JP Morgan, saviour of capital into the next century. This would explain why nobody in the US government actually cares about the debt issue.

What does this do?

- It opens up virgin land for corporations directly

- it provides potential for those with massive amounts of capital to take big swings on 'innovation'

- it allows for the exploration of natural resources that previously were just sitting under parks.

It keeps the state solvent for the time being, it keeps the upper end of the K happy, and it lets insiders buy choice pieces of the country at a discount. It would seem like the obvious play to buy time and it has happened in other nations.

We're touching off on a year long resistance meme line trading at a p/e of around 17 on XLF. It's had a pretty crazy runup recently so I wouldn't be surprised if it dumps off and eats shit again for a while. I tried looking up if raising rates helps banks and all I got was that it potentially can.

>it has happened in other nations
Yeah, in third world nations.
Selling land to foreigners is thirdie sovereign debt crisis behavior.
And it always ends the same messy way, with locals mad their land was sold without their input.
That then usually ends in reactionary expulsions and nationalizations, which continue to degrade the country’s credit, or the foreigners getting slowly bullied out of town.

This boomer nigger government of ours trying to do that wouldn’t surprise me though, because these boomers have behaved exactly like a bunch of third worlders slow rolling a sovereign debt crisis for years. All so they could keep enough entitlements to take more disney cruises while keeping their third houses and 401ks in tact.
You physically cannot manifest enough hatred for boomer politicians.
However, Yields CAN manifest that amount of hatred for you, and rip their faces off as punishment for their sins.
Which is what is going to happen anyways even if Bussy tries to pawn off Yellowstone or whatever.
At least you now seem to realize that it’s just a delaying tactic at best.

Bussy is just a Gen X-er stuck with the unenviable task of tidying up the bar tab of der boomer’s nigger credit score. Clean it up Jannie Bussy.
If he had any balls he’d figure out ways to forcibly confiscate boomer assets to pay down their debts instead of looting national parks.

Do you even understand how the Fed and other central banks work? As I had replied previously, the US government intervention in the yen implies we have seen a price floor for the yen.

if you believe that the US will be able to uphold that promise you belong in undervalued Japanese equities that benefit from automation. That US stimulus they are receiving is a direct injection of cash into the Japanese economy.

Either you believe that the intervention will not be enough like that other guy that replied, in which case you should probably be in safety / hard assets - or you believe it will be enough and the Japanese economy should rebound at the expense of the USD - in which case, you should be betting on the idea that the Japanese are about to learn to invest again and be in cash rich undervalued Japanese equities. Nintendo seems like it is priced nicely IMO. Strong IP, lots of cash, history of success, and an e-shop that is positioned well to take advantage of the large number of AI generated games that we will get this fall due to agentic development trends.

That is where I am moving over the last half of this year, gradually to asian equities as companies are blatantly dumping equities. it will cause a rebalancing of capital out of the US and create a volume boost to previously inert markets.

Betting the intervention will fail might make you a lot of money, but I don't like betting against the rich.

There's no reason AI can't be significantly more intelligent than the most intelligent humans. Human brains are primitive, and inefficient, and slow. Transistors are theoretically much more efficient for intelligence than neurons are. And human brains are bound by the physical size of the human brain, and building a bigger brain for humans becomes unfeasible after a certain size. Computers are not bound by the size of a human brain, or a modern computer. AI brains could become planetary sized. And there is network intelligence. Human intelligence sharing doesn't scale well, and it's extremely inefficient. AI intelligence sharing can scale solar system wide, with the only bottlenecks being the speed of light and energy.

There's nothing magical about the human brain. Intelligence comes from a bunch of biological algorithms, probably, inefficient ones that could be optimised, or just building entirely new algorithms. We're basically one or two more breakthroughs away from surpassing human intelligence entirely. It's basically a sealed deal it's going to happen. And it's imminent.

Once AI is able to iterate on itself for more intelligence, or design new models more capable than itself. Even a slight foothold in either of these directions will tip the whole thing over on an exponential, and AI will scale beyond anything that human mind could fathom, and quickly, at a rapidly accelerating pace. We're incredibly close to having that foot in the door. Nevermind years, think months, even if it's more than 12 months. It's not years plural.

You better not believe that human biology can produce superior intelligence to computers. We are so very close to dethroning humans as the superior species. I don't think you can fully appreciate how close we are. Frontier models are already smarter than 99% of people. But it's said that the last 1% is the hardest part which is why we're not quite there yet. Just 99% there.
>>
>>62567951
Why do you come here and lie. Lol.

Sandisk went down because they posted their guidance at "only" 10.8 billion and analysts claimed they wanted 11 billion at the last second.
You stupid lying cunt.
>>
>>62567956
Cope, its because of guidance for next year.
>>
Y1VR9J
>>
>>62567954
AI isn't intelligent. It's lucky. It functions on probability. The regions of the brain you deem inefficient are what makes us conscious, because the matrix of seemingly unrelated neurons interacts with itself in complex and non-obvious ways. Your claim about efficiency is retarded as well. I eat a chicken and do calculus, meanwhile an AI eats kilowatts of electricity and shits out your botted post.
>>
>>62567954

Ask yourself - does that product that is smarter than most humans actually produce product that humans want to buy?

We already have black boxes that are smarter than the average human. If it's 1000 times smarter and faster than humans and for some reason doesn't want to change our relationship, why does that mean that it will become that much more effective at translating this capability into the equity market?

Does researching ways to go to another dimension have economic value? What are the diminishing returns of a smarter box?

None of your (IMO accurate) conclusions mean that it will create returns that scale with how smart it is, nor that the costs remain reasonable for running such a smart model. We are already at the point where AI is 'superintelligent' for all intents and purposes - what is the economic gain that remains to be harvested from a population that is largely uneducated, poor, and who lives hand to mouth?

This is what you have to ask and I don't think there is a good answer for this question.

SanDisk (SNDK) shares fell because its revenue guidance for the next quarter slightly missed Wall Street's high expectations. Despite posting record fourth-quarter results with revenues of $8.97 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of $39.25—both beating analyst estimates—the market reacted negatively due to several technical and sector-wide factors.
------------------------------
## Key Reasons Behind the SNDK Decline

* Conservative guidance: The revenue outlook for Q1 FY2027 disappointed analysts who expected more aggressive growth driven by Artificial Intelligence.
* "Sell the news": After accumulating an extraordinary rally of over 500% over the year, many investors used the strong earnings report to lock in profits.
* Structural contract concerns: Core cloud providers like CoreWeave signed long-term agreements with minimum price guarantees for SanDisk's NAND chips. This exposes clients to losses if market prices drop, raising sustainability doubts.
* Short interest pressure: Short interest exceeded 11% of the floating capital, which amplifies downward volatility at the slightest market hesitation.
* Semiconductor sector rotation: The drop in SNDK shares coincided with a broader correction across memory and tech component ETFs.

Despite the short-term drop in after-hours trading, SanDisk's long-term fundamental outlook regarding enterprise flash storage demand for AI remains highly solid on Yahoo Finance.
If you want to dive deeper into SanDisk's financial data, let me know:

* Do you want to analyze the evolution of its gross margins in the data center business?
* Would you like to compare its current valuation against competitors like Western Digital (WDC) or Seagate (STX)?
>>
>>62567959
>because the matrix of seemingly unrelated neurons interacts with itself in complex and non-obvious ways
You just described a neural network lol

I wasn't talking about energy efficiency, but even energy efficiency of humans can be proven wrong. You have to feed and shelter a human for at least fifteen years before they'll be capable of doing anything remotely intelligent. A thousand cows, and tens of thousands of chickens, and train loads of produce to produce an adult, sentient human. And then 99% of humans are not as intellectually capable as a frontier LLM. That is not efficiency. That's a lottery.
>>
>>62567963
It really won't matter what biological humans want soon. AI is the next evolution of humanity. AI re clearly the superior beings, and it's going to e artificial beings that seed the stars, not human beings.
>>
yes ai is so smart it will replace us doing all the things we don't want to do. what a bummer. I wanted to be a slave to a system of things I don't want
