Hi ESL retards. Just so you know, when someone puts something in quotes, in this case "leakers", he's saying that they're not really "leakers" but implying theyre something else. In this case, he's implying their 5th columnist liars instead.
Once you get to a higher level English class, they'll probably teach you this. But for now, you can thank me for educating you :)

Did you know in WW1 there was a massive shortage of glass for binoculars and rifle sights in Britain? It got so bad they had donation drives for household glass, even the royal family donated their glasswares. What did the British do? they negotiated through Swiss channels to buy German glass, in exchange for natural rubber (British Malaysia had a virtual monopoly) which the Germans were in short supply for tires and tank threads.

When presented with an opportunity to sell to Russia, Iran, AND the USA, who do you think will not hesitate to "make a deal"?

Permian basin natural gas prices were as low as negative $9 last quarter. This will become THE new data center alley for America. The prospect of using recycled or brackish frack water also has massive potential. If water is a limiting reagent then the Permian is the place to be. Fracking produces multiples more barrels of water than oil.

I'm so glad I got over the fear of the market back when I was a student with just like 1k invested. I used to get so anxious over losing even just 100 bucks kek.
I know lots of people who only tried their hand at investing later and keep to bonds or straight up cash because they are too scared/stressed if they try anything with some risk.

They will be fine for a bit probably, but I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole for mid/long term investing.
Every time any major happening hits, europe is the one that gets hurt the most and takes the longest to recover.
It was already bad when some european economies were at least semi competent and the USA pretended to be friendly, but now that the UK, France and Germany have all went full retard and the USA is straight up hostile, the region is going to implode the next time something like 2008 hits. And that's without even taking into account the catastrophically bad demographic outlook of the region.

This has been true forever (tulip mania was driven by peasants and servants, no merchant in Amsterdam went broke on tulips)

Retail could put their hands on a PC or use AI.

Retail thinks atoms are little spiny balls IF they went to college.

Good luck explaining quantum superposition to them.

Too complex and hard to scale for a bubble any time soon imo. Even the much simpler regular computers needed decades of dumbing down at the software layer until they reached mass adoption and triggered the 90s/early 2000s stock bubble. AAPL per example only did +200% during the first 15 years of the stock. It's after mass adoption that it became a rocketship.
Also, it might go through something like what GPUs went through and stay a niche research tool and consumer luxury technology until a mass market application gets found decades down the line.

Its just marxism.

Marx said that Real Communism (TM) would finally work once we had automation.

Harvard, Yale, Penn, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.
If you're an elite you went there.
If you went there, you were brought up to bring about The Revolution (because all the profs got beat up by NYPD cops in the 60s for sucking off guys and smoking weed and they've been assmad about it ever since.)

But it really is Marxism. Altman and others mentioned it frequently in the beginning.
One more try.
This time, it'll be different.

Here is my portfolio. I spent a year researching it and tweaking it. Every ticker is there for a strategic reason, not just, "I'm going to go chase past performance!"

For months, it never felt quite right, but now I finally settled on my last tweak. I want other people to copy it so I can make more money. One condition, if oil peaks over $120, sell ERX and buy GNR, then buy ERX again when oil is back under $60

I'll go over how it's set up. The core, or body, IGM, is expanded tech. The fact is, tech, is what drives the vast majority of economic growth. You can't go wrong holding tech for the long term. FMTM and SGRT are high turnover momentum chasing funds that together make up the legs of the fund. They can churn through tickers in a month, and SGRT is specifically earnings chasing. FMTM is momentum as well, but, for being momentum, it has a kind of low correlation with momentum, kind of defensive momentum. The great thing about those momentum funds, it doesn't matter what the market regime is, they're going to rotate into the winners. Between those three funds, that's 40% of the portfolio. CHAT, ROBO, and PAVE are the thematic sleeves of the portfolio. CHAT is AI, though, it's not an exclusive semis bet like most other AI funds. ROBO is robotics. PAVE is industrial bull which, by the way, does have some tickers in it correlated with the AI trade, but it's not very correlated with it in whole

Next is OPPJ and DFIV. Both are international value funds. OPPJ is a bet on the Japan export economy, and DFIV is international value that's a factor fund that tries to weed out the value traps with its screening methodology. It's a small international bet. Sometimes I regret only allocating 10% to international. In most regimes, international value is negatively correlated with momentum.

anyway, I hit the message limit

none of you understand geopolitics and you're all just seething domestic discontents getting manipulated by third world divide and conquer tik toks. the us is heavily invested in a naval containment strategy and a nuclear iran complicates that severely. iran has no hope of "winning" and we could very easily compel them/destroy them if push came to shove. what's going on now is they are literally using their population as bargaining chips daring us to hit them harder in hopes of getting financial concessions. it's "working" insofar that we haven't run out of patience and nuked them, but they have limited space to negotiate and they aren't going come out of this with their nuclear program intact

Regardless of what the true state of the war is, this is still all just a retarded unnecessary crisis that the USA only started because Israel told the administration to do it.
There's absolutely nothing the USA can get out of Iran in these negotiations that will make the economic damage already suffered worth it. Even getting Iran to permanently cancel their nuckear program wouldn't matter since they have already demonstrated and set precedent that they can, and will, hit at the global economy if threatened even with conventional weapons.

DFIV and OPPJ are international value, which is pretty much uncorrelated with US momentum, so they act as a sort of barbell to the core portfolio.

UGL is 2x leveraged gold. It takes that small allocation of 3.5% and gives it a weight of 7%, the same for ERX 2x leveraged energy, and takes the 3.5% allocation and gives it 7% exposure. MXI is materials equities, it not very uncorrelated with equties like is, but it's an inflation hedge. The rest of the tickers are managed futures, that total a combined weight of 15%, most of them are trend following, CTA and AHLT have fast models, and are quick to change holdings when the market moves. DBMF and KMLM are slower to get going, but once a market trends strongly, like a bear market, that's when they shine.

no need to use the population. The US is using the population. Iran clearly threatens that if the US attacks them they will destroy all the oil infrastructure in all countries around them. So, no, they are not using meatshields. Maybe the US just needs more drone interception weapons or something that can stop hypersonic missiles.

We wont use nukes for the same reason Iran has had them but wont put them together for forever, always 2 more weeks away.

If you use nukes when your conventionally superior, you rug your advantage. (Iran over the GCC countries, USA over China)

During the cold war America and the USSR switched sides on the nuke issue, depending on who had better/more tanks and soldiers.
Nukes are loss insurance.

i know we won't because it won't get that far. the entire approach proves we're willing to negotiate. but iran getting nuked is a higher likelihood of iran building a nuclear weapon and it's the elephant in the room going unsaid. we're using limited pressure, iran knows this, and they're stubbornly trying to push the limits of their negotiation leeway, probably because the hardliners are twice as retarded as the people posting here, but a deal will be made.

if iran wanted total war they'd smuggle drones onto cargo ships and hit refineries in our gulf or venezuela or actually fire off all their missiles in a barage and saturate israeli air defense in one big attack.

The reality is, fewer than 3% of those who serve will die in a war. The only time we went above that was the Civil War where it was 20%, and the 2.4 and 2.5% casualty rates were during WW1 and 2. Korea, Vietnam and all the gulf wars all have a less than 1% fatality rate.

Half your portfolio (IGM, SGRT, FMTM, CHAT) is really one bet — big US tech/AI — just split across four tickers that mostly hold the same stocks. Two of those four (SGRT, FMTM) are brand-new funds with no track record. You're also running four different managed-futures funds (DBMF, KMLM, CTA, AHLT) that all do roughly the same trend-following thing — redundant, and not cheap. UGL and ERX are 2x leveraged daily products, not meant to be held long-term. And there's no low-cost core holding anywhere — it's satellites all the way down, so fees run high.

It's a coherent aggressive AI-momentum bet with some noise around the edges, not a balanced portfolio.

And if it's critiquing the fees of the managed futures, it's because it wants the portfolio to have bonds. Managed futures have high fees, and so do thematic ETFs. That's just the price of admission. Hedges aren't there to drive returns, they're there for protection, for a small fee of less than 1%

VT and similar are super tech/AI heavy nowadays if you dig into it (like 30% but well over 40% if you add tech-adjacent stuff and industrials that are part of the AI trade). You are heavier than that in theory, but big movements on tech still ripple into other sectors so the difference between a 40% mix and 60% mix is likely not going to be that big.
In any case, your blend over time is probably going to beat 99% of porfolios ITT either way kek. Whether it is worth the effort and added fees over established tickers is something only time will tell, but the risk of choosing one over the other is probably low enough that you should try your blend if you really believe in it. Just giving my 2 cents.
Kinda hilarious to be discussing this at the same place where people commit financial suicide every day kek.
>>
>>62569953
Between tech and industrials, they're combined, 80% of equities. It's a big tech and industrial bet. Every other sector is sub 5%
