A deal has been expected since Monday, it will also depend on the US abandoning the southern channel they've created off the coast of Oman, while this may be good for markets what this is in reality is the US ceding control of the strait to Iran, in a formal internationally recognised agreement, it's funny how Iran's nuclear enrichment has become a distant concern compared to the strait, it's amazing how miggers can think of this as any sort of US victory

DRAM is just tracking global memory suppliers. It makes sense they would add CXMT into the pile so I don't see what the problem is.

The real issue with DRAM is that memory is in a downturn so it is not worth investing in. If the sector moonshots, DRAM will as well.

I used to agree with you until i read their last earnings. Its that fucking crazy good.
Their only real problem is that there's a LOT of people (even some Institutional behemoths) like you who are buttmad they missed out on the Initial bullrun and see this big number and think "hmm.. "big number, must it's overvalued ah yes me smart".
Worst part is that there's so insanely many people seeething and shorting with this mentality that the good numbers end up meaning nothing when there's a horde of millions bear shorting on nothing but cope and despise.

>Trump teased an Iran deal that didn’t come, but markets soared. Here’s why it keeps happening
>The Trump administration this week sparked enthusiasm that the U.S. and Iran could soon strike a deal on the Strait of Hormuz, driving down oil prices and sending stocks soaring — only for no deal to emerge.
>f that sounds familiar, it may be because President Donald Trump has claimed dozens of times that the U.S. is close to an agreement that will end the war it began more than five months ago.
>“There’s tremendous optimism bias in the market,” Helima Croft, global head of commodity strategy at RBC Capital Markets, told CNBC.

Good numbers doesn't matter when the chip demand goes tits up and the chip company holds the bag in the middle of their moore's law driven 2 year buildout cycle for the 10th time.
That's why these trade at 5x even when they're doing blockbusters. Everyone knows the cycle we've all seen it for decades.

The only discussion that matters is whether pay to quit contracts change this math. I think they do to a degree but they aren't really pay to quit either they're non refundable deposits. Which means Micron can, for the umpteenth time, over commit to spend in the boom cycle and the money can dry up in the bust cycle and they're stuck bag holding their buildout for the umpteenth time.

A bunch of whales are getting ready to make bank off of SOMEthing, and we plankton are not allowed to know what when or how.

why does roundhill keep making these thematic etf's with high expense ratio (0.65) when both

How many AI companies exist?
Bezos just sold billions of amzn to put more in his rocket program.
Spcx makes money on the space in their rockets. There is no shortage of cash to throw at these spaces. And when space is available spcx puts their own shit into space.
To expand into the infinite profit potential void you have to buy elon space to get there, and if you dont elon will buy his own space and out compete you.
Its a new space race.

I am worried that semiconductors are now going to follow the same pattern that crypto did after 10/10 and pms did after 1/30. they lured all the retail into them, then executed their kill protocol, and then picked off the stragglers with the unendurable slow bleed crab bear pattern. Unlike crypto and metals though, chips and memory and power are still clearly the future, with the most demand and most constrained supply, and the 'correct' sectors to be in for probably the next several decades. But all this will mean in the short term is even more miserable shitty bearcrabbing for even longer than anyone thinks is possible precisely because bagholders' conviction that it is the right trade is even higher, and their resolves must be broken before it can moon again. Meanwhile other sectors will moon without them, like space and (apparently) metals again and biotech and whatever else. I worry that I will get stuck being one of those bagholding intc back down to $50 and mu back down to $500 wondering why being right isn't working.

I am trying to figure out how to dissociate myself from 'being right' and orient myself more towards 'making money'. It is tough because april and may reinforced for me very strongly that buying what you believe in and what all the data points to being the most valuable sector actually works. And now I have to decondition myself. I am not sure how to though. If I am not buying the things I think have the most demand and the highest supply shortages and the most upside for revenue and margin expansion (chips) then it feels like I am just making a trade, have no conviction, get bored easily and sell and chase other equally stupid things. and I know I am no good at that adhd sort of trading style.

Anyone who invested into those this past year have become baggies, which is why you hear so much shilling about them.

The only thing I can say is that if you believe in your thesis and it's a proper one, you will make money. Now if you want to make money "quick", then that's an entirely different story, but I caution against chasing whatever sector you read about on here. There's a lot of baggies out there trying to dump bags. Always be mindful of that.

went someplace else but it wasn't as advertised... left quickly. i have early beach reservations tomorrow and it's going to be a hectic day with the women's tour de france. i walked through old town nice though.., baby this is where you should be, not in some dump in dixie where they can't even staff a waffle house. a lot of you americans would not believe your eyes, pretty thin white girls as far as the eye could see... stuff not seen in the states since the aughts, and at a scale never seen. this could be our summer stay, along with wine country and santa cruz ofc. anyways biotech is working in this market because everyone is afraid there is still a fatwa on semiconductors, even though it might be lifted, and when the #1 growth area is on restriction money managers go to #2 and that is biotech, you can see the outperformance starting in the ark complex which is loaded with biotech too, you know, financially speaking.

this is relevant to stocks because white collar convictions and settlements are at an all time low = more insider trading and cooked books = bullish until it's not

Like back in April, where a huge majority of the thread was going on a meltdown because SOXL just kept on pumping and pumping? Kek I remember that. I was so close to make it, I was so fucking close. Still livid about it. Alas idk when this will happen, it's abundantly clear the market is manipulated and can be for months if not years so who's to say a pump on semis will happen again?
>>
>>62574218
Congress creatures passed a law allowing them to trade on insider information, they all do, so what is the problem? Public does not care to do anything about it so why complain? I give him credit for making some easy cash, just think of the aweful things he had to do to win election.

Reminder that unlike the USA the rest of the world hasn't seriously started fracking for oil and gas yet.
The moment oil prices stay high that fracking will start. There is a hard cap on oil prices.

>implying this nigga can’t just print more oil

Semis seem to move opposite to tech and saas. When tech started dumping semis began mooning and the opposite is happening now, or at least it is with msft. So for me when I see a downtrend in tech and no obvious other rotation I am full porting into semis.

>taking this bet when you know this guy can also place a bet and choose the outcome
It's like playing a dice game against someone but he's allowed to change the outcome of the dice rolls. Everyone who bet on this besides him deserved to lose money.

don't bother, this shit is unprofitable.
Keep putting money in stuff you believe in like the MAG7. Don't take the bait of major gains promised by guys who constantly rotate and shill shit like Hertz. These are gamblers that will lose the money the same way they made it. There are no investing geniuses posting on 4chan, only gamblers on a winning streak that all seem to disappear for no reason at all (they lost a huge gamble and are down 40%). Patience and perseverance.

Yeah. Dunno if their partnership with Apple will have time to bear fruit before the report though. Seems too close to earnings.

If apple wanted to sell iToys on loan to their customers, they’d already happily be doing that with their own financial arm.
What’s really going on here is Apple knows that their customers won’t be able to afford these new price increases so they’re offloading the risk to the klarna clowns.
Klarna has a VC-startup growthmaxxing mindset so they’ve taken Apple’s bait without thinking it through.

. which has become an overweight proportion of my portfolio again because it almost doubled while the rest of my stocks are still crabbing

i have around 10k shares waiting to be sold at 2.40 and another 30k shares waiting to be sold at 2.60
im skipping $2 milestone since they did an offering at $2.10 last year. it s going to form a floor around there again once ppl remember the $2.10 offering was oversubcscribed for reason

Anyone can do this. Make a bet that there will be a streaker at whatever football game then strip down and run on the field and make 100k right there. It's the wild West like DeFi was right now. It will be a while before this gets patched desu.
There are probably better examples I can think of but yeah Santos isn't gonna get in any trouble for this shit cause our society is obsessed with gambling and circus and losing faith in what actually matters
