I don't understand all the hate this guy gets. Hated by hedgefunds, hated by retail. Yet were his bets wrong? If he cashed out at the picotop in June he'd be hailed as a stock trading genius. Especially so when you know some of retail was trading the same stuff he was holding yet mocked. Why? Or is it just bots mocking the guy, I can see that being the case.

ok actual legitimate question in cerebras
I doubt any fags here have any clue but still

so every neocloud is buying nvidia shit mostly?
I dont think they buy cerebras stuff

cerebras stuff is extreme niche anyways, and they directly sell to meta/openai

what is the point of this even though their tech is interesting I dont see how it has any value, they are slow at getting out their chips and nobody really cares because of that
and the world favors nvidia chips anyways guys jensen is the big guy

is this company investible?

gpus are for training, these are for inference, actually running the models. they solve a major bottleneck with having nand on wafer as opposed to memory off chip, it saves time and when you're processing tokens it matters a lot, it makes ai run faster and it's a significant difference. also nand memory scales very well and it's a lithography process not an etch process, dram is already as tiny as they can make and they just stack it, they can shrink nand with better litho processes and they already have plans to do that well out until 2035, and they aren't even making cerebras chips on leading edge nodes yet. it's the future of computing and inference is going to grow significantly faster than training over the next 5 years.

I called you a gambling retard last night, because you had no way of knowing if it would squeeze.

Squeezes don't happen due to things retail can know or predict.

A specific man running a fund makes a choice because he see's an ass hanging out.
If all the fund runners are to busy fucking other asses, you are the one who's ass gets fucked.

Especially in a crowded squeeze WSB type play, the situation is even more precarious, because there are now thousands of short term know-nothing speculators involved who could easily be shaken out, leaving the squeezer with the tempting prospect of abandoning the idea and joining the short to dagger it down.

Man it really sours me not being modestly wealthy. That meaning $500k. It's just the turning point where every single play can be quite impactful to reaching neetdom. Even buying in at the worst time wouldn't ruin me with my strategy. The entire mindset behind trading becomes far easier to pull off when I have enough money. With $50k you need to risk more to get any sizeable return, with $500k I can risk just a portion of it and if it goes south I'm not making high risk plays that put me worse off ie
>buy SOXL at $300
>buy more at $250 thinking it's a good dip
>nervously buy at $200 trying to average down
>shaking and crying but at $150 to average it down further
>screaming and punching my pc as I average down at $100
With $500k it's as easy as
>buy SOXL at $300 with $50k
>it drops to $250
the following mindset prevents me from averaging down
>if AI is really going to make a lot of money than this will pump back up, make my money back and several hundreds of thousands more
There isn't much reason to really increase the risk when 10% of $500k will make a good return that's much better than median wage.

But with $50k, averaging down seems more likely because it's easier to get panicky and also easier to get duped into "it's a dip, if I'm in with more I can reach a good networth faster!" But with $500k you can just ignore the dip, if the investment is truly as good as it seems to be, then it will make it back and you won't start chasing losses as easily.
>>
>>62588535

After I passed a six figure net worth in my Robinhood account I really only got more scared of losing it, like a mental barrier that I'm a fuckup if I lose that extra digit again. Obviously that's nowhere near 500,000 yet, but I just think there's definitely a commensurate increase in nervousness when you have so much money on the table at once. Placing bets with Real Money scares the fuck out of me, even though I keep doing it. But yeah it's cool seeing how much you can get back out of the market once you hit a certain point. Making rent off one good play is a dangerously pleasent feeling.

Yeah I was at $150k at one point. Seeing a single play being able to make me 2-3 months wages was great, well until the whole semi trade had the floor open on it. I'm in 5 figure hell now and have an idea of what to do to get back to 6 figures fast.

Fuck yeah dude, you're winning. I've only topped out at the 140 range, haven't hit five. This year's been good though, maybe I will.
Last fifty thousand of my retail account is just sitting in QQQ and QQQI shares though, and I'm only brave enough to actively trade the remaining capital. I feel like I might actually kill myself if I lost EVERYTHING, so even though I'm pretty fastidious about stop losses and getting out of losing positions I can't bring myself to bet the whole pot on the likes of a TQQQ or Micron swing trade yet without keeping that big piece in regular don't-touch-those shares

if it goes a lot down while company news are good but macro is bad you buy
if it goes down a lot cause some stupid kid called leopold crashed the AI stocks you buy

if it goes down a lot cause of FUD you buy

if it goes up a lot you need to be careful

My mother, who I love very much, will regularly let herself into my condo and throw away any bags of rice that are products of India. Apparently a giant percentage of rice in the supermarket is grown over there, and Mom rightly doesn't trust that because of lead in the soil. So she's got my ass buying nothing but this hippie organic rice that's grown in Texas but it's more than twice as expensive. Rice used to be the cheapest shit on my grocery list and now I'm even paying premium prices for that. Mom's probably right though.

Market really is just a collective belief engine, after all. A wonderful shared dream. I wonder if some Jungian shaman ever got the bright idea to go on a spirit journey and tap into the collective unconscious just to get insights on stock trends. Wait it gets worse.
If you believe charlie munger was talking about the 100k of the time when he said it then it's 1.5 million. But he was talking about himself when he first made 100k then it's 12.6 million dollars now.

He meant when you have that 100k then you are basically at the point where it starts doing the heavy lifting so you don't have to

Interesting chart. Here is a subsector screen excluding loss makers to keep it cleaner.

The only thing I would even consider on these lists is gold/metals miners and energy and energy adjacent. All property is in peril of a major correction. Shipping is facing some very obvious issues. Insurance is being used as the bag holder of private-credit by the private-equity owners for the AI credit bubble. Regional banks are on the hook for various subprime crisis looming in auto and property among other things. Airlines are in the firing line for the middle distillate squeeze due to Hormuz (diesel, kerosene and heating oil shortage)

So selected companies in Oil, LNG, Energy Services, Pipelines Infrastructure, Metals, PMs, and Telecommunications. I’d add electronic components but that’s tracking the AI debt cycle.

SPCX is textbook hyper bullish. confirmation of an ascending three line strike candlestick pattern right on the daily ascending channel support. Impulsive macro reversal triggered a violent bullish crossover on the 14 day Stochastic RSI and deeply oversold. signals immediate exhaustion of institutions. price is aggressively compressing against the lower band of the 20 day Bollinger band, and shows a high volatility expansion event. validated by a textbook golden cross on the intraday charts, and 20 day EMA has sliced clean through the 50 day with RVOL confirming. confirming the move. algos are actively defending the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level, which perfectly aligns with the anchored VWAP from the previous swing high. My estimation is a minor liquidity sweep of the psychological support before market expansion pushes price action into the upper bollinger band target. If four hour candle closes as a bullish engulfing marquee above the 50 EMA, it will invalidate bear thesis and confirm a parabolic MACD histogram divergence. Watch the CMF ticking into positive territory. directional order block migration means smart money is aggressively out in front of the breakout toward the next major psychological resistance zone.
