SPCX confirmed for me that any negative sentiment related to "market mechanics" on megacaps like the float lockup expiring etc is bullshit. INTC offering was another example, was apparently massively oversubscribed, the line of investors who wanted the shares on offer was around the block
>>
>>62589757
Im confused are the intc buyer getting it at a discount to current share prices cause if not, why not just buy the shares directly off the market?

Nonetheless I ran the numbers. If I time an entry good enough, I could make a lot of money. It really pains me seeing as I had looked into Nebius but it slid off my radar. An all in on that wouldve made so much back

SpaceX has the meta.

We have reached a new level of fake in the bullshit production possibility curve, while homosexuality has remained about the same.

This being the case, even more bullshit is required, things need to be faker than ever, if prices are to be maintained following the rightward shift, or to be increased.

Homosexuality probably won't shift, given that it already at its theoretical maximum.

kek it’s not a rocket science, just few lines in the balance sheet and being able to use a calculator to calculate BVPS “ Stock of a company with a lot of surplus cash and nothing ahead of the common is clearly a better purchase (at the same price) than another one with the same per share earnings but large bank loans and senior securities”
example being some anon on Monday posting about SION witch lost 92% in a day. Their working capital as reported in Q2 was ~250M while their total debt was around 8M. Even if they decide to do a cheaper 11 meme today owning that stock would make u money.
>>62589908
I mean… it’s in the name -cryptoCURRENCY
>what is it called when ethereum or any other proof of stake shitcoin is staked and gains yield for securing the chain
since it’s a currency and like any other currency banks or brokers pay u a finite percentage for holding that money in whatever form and using it as they like to make more, holding euros in your bank account and watching it erode due to inflation and getting 2% on your 100k is not investing profits, especially with volatile “assets” like crypto, especially when it still doesn’t have ANY real world applications

>>
>>62589800
Yeah it's always the same. A bunch of other shit like Taiwan getting invaded, Europe running out of gas this winter and Best Korea deciding to end K-Pop.

In the long-run holding everything in precious metals and funko-pops will win but you will probably be dead before that crash happens. Dead and, worse still, being a pmg schizo.
>>
>>62590015
Except you need ethereum to maintain network security it is not an arbitrary reward or a situation where it is getting lent out by a bank and you're getting a share. Ethereum's role in staking has no correlation to how a currency generates you money in your savings account; it is producing value. You can argue that the value it's producing is fake and gay as they designed the whole coin around it, although eth was proof of work for a long time but it is still working for you.
Something being a productive asset is not a necessary requirement for it being an "investment" anyway. This premise excludes gold/silver bullion, forex, land(not homes), toys, art, watches etc. which have all been traded and "invested" longer than any of us have been alive.

I researched several managed futures ETFs. Most people don't understand them, or understand how they work.

They are not just a trend system, and are just constantly moving in and out of trends, and switching to short and long depending on how the trend moves. That is not how they work. That's too simplistic.

They are doing something more. They're taking positions, like, longing US treasuries, then in additional to that, they're taking on leverage to trade trends.
There are implications to this. I've researched the past holdings on many funds, and I can tell you what kind of leverage they use on average.

It means if you're holding managed futures, odds are, it will be capital efficient. You're not just getting exposure that is $1 for $1. You're getting exposure that is $2 for 1$. That's how these funds bang out 20% in a year longing US treasurys. They treasurys are collaratal for the leveraged trades.

One key point to know. They're not leveraging risk. They'll be long and short stuff,so a fund might be 100% long of US treasurys, then 103% on a futures short for a combined gross exposure of 203%. Funds can have 2x, 3x, even I've seen 4x gross exposure. Only you won't have 4x risk because that's just the gross total exposure and not the risk. They're not doing 4x leveraged bets all in the same direction.

Offhand, and very roughly, for every $1 you put into one of these funds, you have about $1.50 in actual directional exposure. Some of them are high, like if you held DBMF, you'd have about $2 for every $1 in risk exposure. Most of them aren't that high. Basically, what this means, if 10% of your portfolio is managed futures, it's going to pull its weight like it's actually 15% of your portfolio.

They pay out yield as well. Better than bonds in every way.

Here's effective leverage of like the top 20 performing funds. It wasn't easy to compile this, and going through past quarterly reports to look at all their holdings, and making estimations off the holdings.

Asian NBIS sir! Will have data centres in Taiwan, Thailand, India & Indonesia to service Asian end users including governments for sovereign AI systems.

With a smidge of PLTR AI surveillance & smart city infrastructure.

Gorillionaire here, will be a big day for my GAMB & GRRR bags. GRRR should be announcing earnings date and GAMB, now GRSD deliver earnings after the bell.

Fingers crossed the World Cup had a positive effect on business but I'm not massively hopeful at this stage.

Not even close

But they are likely to report anywhere between $270-$380 million in cash after the recent convertible bonds sale. And have several billion in contracts signed with Yotta & Freyr to provide compute & software.

They will burn cash very quickly but revenues are set to grow exponentially, the path to profitability is unclear but growth is baked in depending on execution. Should have updates in September on the Yotta delivery.

Its a huge gamble with dilution and execution risk but if they deliver then it is a multi bagger.

I don't have anyone else to share this with. I work for a tech company, and I got some shares recently. I sold them after receiving them (I normally do this) and let the proceeds sit around because I'm retarded and have decision paralysis. The stock is up 20% since I sold, and its continuing to go up. I missed out on about $10k so far, and the number keeps going up.

Now I want to panic buy something with the cash so I feel like I'm not missing out, but I'm too paranoid. What do I even buy right now? All I've been doing is putting my money in VTI and VXUS like a good little boglehead and my gains are pathetic compared to everyone else. If I even had the tiniest pair of balls I'd be able to retire. How do I stop feeling this way? What do I buy wish cash, which seems like the worst thing to have right now?

AI is so useful for investing

I tell it go collect every bit of data you can on a topic. It goes and collects a huge amount of data

then I tell it to build me charts out of what I need from the data, or glean actionable information from it

you'd be surprised what gems you can glean from a deluge of data. It's like panning for gold. That's the best metaphor to describe it.

Try it. It really works. And now is the best time to do it before AI completely saturates financial data and it's all market neutral. So this is only going to work for a limited time, then, all data is going to be priced in.

Go tell it to go scour through hundreds of quarterly reports, record that data, then work the data whatever way you want it to be worked. It just let it tell you what is best to do.

It won't work with the free tier. Buy the $20 plan, and load of Codex or Claude
