But many companies will realise they can do in house software solutions with AI, and not have to worry about spending millions on Software stacks to companies like Adobe.For the last 20 years, software led economic growth. But that will slowly invert. It will be hardware that leads economic growth. So the chip makers, are the MAG7, and companies that actually physical own large amounts of compute, like Amazon, and Google. The value will be in the hardware, not the software.The compute shortage will be essentially perpetual. Demand for intelligence and therefore compute will be essentially infinite. Every time a discovery is made, that just creates even more demand for compute because it can be used to do something new. If there are efficiencies made in compute, that won't decrease demand, but will unlock even more use cases for compute that previously wasn't economical. It just keeps going. It doesn't stop. Since software goes to essentially zero, value will be in the actual physical world. Manufacturing. Supply chains, and every other industry that keeps scaling the more productivity that gets thrown at it. A lot of industries are going to have real bottlenecks.The next phase is autonomous industry. Everything becomes autonomous from the intellectual productivity, to the physical labour. It scales so quickly that bottlenecks are quickly hit.
