It's at all time highs which means the price is really high, highest its ever been in fact, so no one buys it and it goes back down. Maybe 5% maybe 20%. It's simple really, these wallstreet types must all be dumb. Would you buy a pizza tonight if its 20% off tomorrow night? Think McFly, think.

I'll grace everyone with my portfolio. I'm not ashamed.

It's all new funds. One of them is less than 2 months active.

NTSD 40%
MQQQ 30%
WX 30%

To translate those obscure tickers to stuff that's more well known. It's
40% [0.90 SPY + 0.60 VEA] + 30% [2x QQQ] + 30% [2x VT] = 180% = 1.8x

NTSD is the foundation. It's a very smooth ride for being 1.5x. 60% VEA smooths out the volatility from the 90% SPY. NTSD is surprisingly smooth, and about the same volatility as QQQ. NTSD is quarterly reset as well, so the drag is minuscule. MQQQ, 2x QQQ, is the growth engine, and it can be a wild ride, but at 30% of the portfolio, it's kept in check. It is monthly reset, and has very low drag, less than 1%. WX is the more, huh, wildcard, with 2x VT. I calculated the drag, but it's only been two months, and the market has been choppy as fuck, basically the worst kind of market for leveraged drag, and I'll be honest here. The drag for WX doesn't look great so far, but this isn't enough history. I'll have a better estimation when it's been around 6 months, if the market behaves normally. What WX does offer, however, is exposure to the total world market, and emerging markets, and it'll e able to catch growth anywhere in the world

Most funds are higher in fees than the drag NTSD has, and the drag off MQQQ is sub 1%. I'll watch WX closely, but I've been getting like 5% drag off it, but this is the worst kind of market for leveraged ups and downs. I have a feeling the drag of WX will settle around 1-3%

Trump behaves more like a loser from ancient Greece or dark age Britain, he only fields 200 soldiers and considers that an army.
Meanwhile the Romans, chinese warring states and world war 2 generals could easily field 100k men without betting an eye.

The least trump can do is field 50k men on the beaches of Iran, that would pump the stocks.

>>62595552
I'm worried the new Iran sanctions might include its trading partners like China. I expect Trump to trigger them after Xi's visit and think this slow grind up will last through the end of the month.

so just a quick observation on DG: they tend to have stores just outside of locations of city jurisdictions; which are the most sensitive to employing lots of revenue faggots. in other words, the premium to standard products like milk, eggs, and frozen slop are bulwarcked by the fact that you can often drive there without threat of citycop faggots inquiring about your registration, insurance, or liscence.

They'd get obliterated by every short range missile they have, they'd might let them advance to a choke point and the hills would be swarming with militia and missiles in an instant. Almost everyone in the military has no real combat experience, everyone who did aged out. The US army war college wrote a paper a few years ago after Ukraine had turned into meat grinder suggesting the next conflict America got into would have 50k casualties every two weeks. You're imaginary army could not last that long even. Anything other than total invasion would be overwhelmed, a total invasion would require 4.5 million of mostly conscripts. This whole war was like Trump sticking his dick directly into a fire ant mound because the're so much smaller than him how could they possibly win. In any event the first wave would be like D-Day if we lost. Still considered possible by many that we'd allow the slaughter hoping it would lead to a broader support for the war.

just applying basic game theory tells us both will go up. AI although useful will inevitably fail to deliver even a fraction of the hype and will grow cold as it fails to scale until the next evolutionary cycle. meanwhile every business will be forced to adopt it to compete. saas is safe, so is AI, although AI will see turbulence. if the last tech cycle shows us anything openai and anthropic will both fail, but birth many new companies that take over.

I was following this keith intern saga this week and was initially intrigued by the use of this "manual market maker" tool that martin set up to essentially just spam limit buys at the bid and sells at the ask. Then I quickly asked myself "what happens if the actual market makers don't fill your closeout order and then moves the market against you... This is the result. And correct me if I'm wrong but they are trading share not options so that loss is on raw shares without leverage

This is the same thing rotting away all the western economies.

It's not even the /pol/ element.

It's just that in these massive megastructures created by anticompetitive practice and bailouts and M&A, management thinks they can "afford" stuff like this, but overtime the majority of cases are fail-uping by schemers and politckers.

It will soon prove fatal if something isn't done.

dont fall for the psyop smigga, many who enter 6 fig range never leave the 6 fig mark and end up bascially in purgatory.

Kek they're actually starting shit up back in afghanistan thoughbeit.

Glowies have launched a rebel faction, the AUF.
(Funily enough they did it using the think tank who's videos were being autoplayed to me while I slept, and I mentioned I suspected it was a glow glow front, it seems I am again correct.)

Unfortunately this is bearish.
It seemed for a bit that we might have an understanding with Taliban as a counterweight to the Pakis who are firmly in Changs camp, but if we're doing this they'll either remain neutral or join Chnag.

Also, glowies who are ITT, you really need to work on the branding.
This looks like the icon for a 1990s RTS.

If the economy is K shaped though this shouldn't be the case.

That being said, Adam Smith would say the real rate of inflation is 33%, as the only way to compare rate of real inflation across currencies is to calculate the amount of food required to support a laborer and his family for the continuation of the species, and it is therefore measured in a quantity of wheat/rice/potatoes etc, depending upon what the locals eat.

This is the only rational/intutive theory of value I've ever come across.

It’s just sociopathic dunning kruger’s flaming out over and over.
Tale as old as time.
Midwits will read Sun Zu and really be like
>Wow! I can get ahead by le tricking people! I am so smart!
The guy in charge of Enron practically worshipped the Selfish Gene book, and turned his company into a pit of sociopaths that, inevitably, blew up.

The Selfish Gene book itself should be a clue that the “Gene” doesn’t workout on some level, as it has a fermi’s paradox style dilemma of “Well why hasn’t it manifested itself more strongly in humans overtime?”
Because it sucks. It’s nice to be nice, and even nicer to live among nice people. It’s a society’s easier path of least resistance and higher productivity, especially at the hunter gatherer level.
The hyper selfish can only really get any wiggle room in wealthy highly populated societies that are too large and numb to notice their actions, but always flameout once they’re found out, or their tower of babel collapses.
In a tight knit small tribe or village, socios would easily have their schemes sniffed out, and just get thrown in the bog. That’s the natural selection that explains why the selfish gene sucks.

im not making claims about the cause im just saying, the base value from which all other values are computed is the subsistence wage of a wagie, and if that has risen by 15-30%, that is the real rate of inflation, which is in line with how most see it.

based on what i did with claude and pushing back it looks like wagies have lost about 10% of their incomes ytd, with labor-command (real) inflation around 16.5%

so the lower end of that range, but still attrocious.

the ai faggotry must be stopped and rates must be allowed to rise.
>>
>>62596161

The Fed will do anything but that. They'd rather cut soon if consumer stuff get's bad (like data yesterday) and "support" the labormarket than hike despite the higher inflation. They don't care about inflation, they only do not want a recession.

I'm talking about letting yields rise, which will have the same effect.

I'm not naive enough to believe they'll raise rates themselves and absorb the political fallout.

Let the yields rise.

Kill these gigantic behemoth grafted offense-against-nature blasphemous zombie lich corps which are sucking the lifeblood and enthusiasm for life from the economy.

I'll be as pessimistic as I can
the real cancer here is US public debt, which you can only tackle with huge cuts on the US military, which will lead to the death of the dollar (which may still happen in our lifetime Tbh)
why accelerating this process
redistributing some upper class wealth with a more robust welfare is a better strategy imo (healthcare in the US mainly, a more moder education system in the EU)

>Some of the largest US oil companies are dialing back capital spending in the country’s shale basins as they use the windfall from high crude prices to boost shareholder returns and pay down debt rather than accelerate production growth.
>Chevron Corp. and ConocoPhillips cut capital expenditure in the Lower 48 by 10% in the first six months of the year while Occidental Petroleum Corp. cut spending in the Permian Basin by 20% in that period, according to earnings reports. APA Corp., Matador Resources Co., and HighPeak Energy Inc. are also on track to spend considerably less on drilling and fracking in the US than a year ago.
