This escalator up, elevator down behavior is really pissing me off.

Why couldn't I have gone all in back in March, sold in June, and stayed cash since? The smallest of changes and I'd be up so much. Well at least I'm not all in cause it sure feels like a repeat of 2022. Seriously fucking semis just undo 4 days in a single day???

Kek. At least if a crash happens I'll still have more than I did in April 2025. I will fucking buy the fuck out of a steep enough dump. It's one thing to go all in on April 2025 tier prices, it's another to go late July 2026 pico bottom prices. No way was I gonna go all in on that dump. Though in retrospect it would've made a great bounce provided I all in'd and sold the pump rather than hold. I'd have made so much back. But there was no guarantee that it couldn't have kept dropping more. I can justfiy going all in on SOXL $10 and holding even if it drops to $8.50. I cannot justify going all in on SOXL $100 since the underlying is still really high with plenty of room to fall.

It's like a business loan. If you're a business that needs a loan, your books aren't in order and you are very unlikely to repay.
Same with consumer loans, which are even less disciplined. People are impulsive and greedy. They generally lack foresight and the ability to plan (and follow it!) long term.
When you offer subprime loans you're opening the doors to people who already have shit credit and are unlikely to repay you to begin with. I never trusted the business model.

Also, fun fact, because Klarna is not a lender (they open loans on your behalf), it affects your credit rating; and fully repaying a loan closes the "account" on that bank loan. Closing accounts is very BAD for your credit rating.

OCACr are SPAC rights that convert 1:1 post spac merge, so if any piece of shit deal gets signed you make money unless the SPAC crahses 97% on day 1 which has never happend.

I looked into this, I don't think most do a 1:1 conversion. And iirc I almost got duped into thinking one I found was 1:1 rather than something else. Still not sure how this will work but if it as you say then I'll probably have to move more money over. I just can't shake this feeling that there is something important we're overlooking with these. Question for ya, just how far are you willing to select these in terms of price and quantity of rights needed? Ie a 1:1 for 0.50 seems like a good deal, what about a 10:1, is 0.10 too much? What criteria do you use for picking these and are you super diversified or are there not a lot to pick from?

OCACr is 1:1 for sure. The thing is with 1:1 conversion SPAC's is they have more dilution after the merger so a likely larger sell off.
Most SPAC's are in the range of 4:1 - 10:1
There's about 100 or so SPAC's currently trading that have rights, about 20 or so already have deals in place. ALIS / ALISR being one of those, the rights went from $.10 to $1.00 and currently trade at about .60.
I have a giant list, I keep track of the implied cost, ceo and their previous spac history, spac size, sector, whether they are targeting foreign or us based targets, conversion ratios of the rights, how many rights were issued per unit.
I haven't done too much with rights yet but I did make 6 figures off spac warrants in 2020 so I'm not new to this space. I have a large basket of the Rights so if a few go to $0 it's not a big deal but looking at the success rates of SPAC's that are finding deals and merging versus liquidating and the numbers are very promising.
For your other question 10:1 at .10 is likely better since it'll have less post merge dilution.
So if a 1:1 spac issues 1 right for every unit and then every right converts 1:1 into a share post merge, then 5 million units for instance would lead to 5 million shares from the unit splits + 5 million shares made from rights
A similar spac that did 5 million units that issued 1 right per unit and each right converts 10:1 would have 5 million shares from the units splitting and then only 500,000 additional shares made from 5 million rights converting to 500,000 shares. For my weighting in terms of what Im looking at it's tech and high growth stuff takes priority, US based stuff preferred with foreign stuff needing to be significantly cheaper.

Ask /pol/
Mostly it comes down to Jews seething about non-Jews, and instigating control and humiliation on multiple levels to undermine culture

In financial terms, this means wealth concentration and eternal debt servitude. Practically, basic goods and services increase in cost with less purchasing power. Unless you go full debtmaxxing and game the system, the best thing you can do is hold diverse assets and keep your own costs low.

I always laugh at people that save up their rewards dollars on credit cards. They should be using it on said goods and services as soon as possible, because if you save up $500 in a year or two for a vacation, how much worse is your purchasing power?

They charge best buy or door dash etc merchant fees. Having the klarna option gets more people to buy than they otherwise would have and klarna takes on the risk of debt. Merchant fees are most of their revenue.
They also do charge interest on longer term loans, that's 25% of their revenue, apparently.

Get a versa bro. You can find a used versa under 100k for 4 grand in a 5 speed. Bulletproof Mexican built vehicle when it doesn't have the cvt desu. If mine shits out I'm immediately gonna buy another one.

Klarna is a credit card for people whose credit scores are too low to even quality for the credit cards banks are currently shitting out. No credit check.

Yes, people shouldn't buy retarded consumer products that they can't afford to pay right now. It incentivises people to overspend and promotes buying addictions.

I guess I feel bad for him. But I am also too cautious to put 100k into a single asset after a massive fucking pump. I dunno. Feels lke he should have waited for a dip.
>>
>>62605923
It is extremely obvious the current setup of non-credit check credit services like klarna will lead to violent defaults later on and klar will probably be banned as a result. One can merely watch from a distance.

>Klarna pays door dash 190 dollars
>Jamal pays klarna in 4 payments of 50 dollars
This is how they make most of their money. The default rate is less than 1 percent and has been decreasing. They also do use credit checks, they are just soft pulls plus internal algorithms to determine risk. Seems like a good business model to me. The fact they are able to keep delinquencies so low proves they know what they are doing.

Fuck me I should've sold yesterday. I'm so fucking tired of this market. 6 months ago it was just hype, hype, hype for AI. You'd see them putting all sorts of news shilling it hard. Now they've all clammed up. Feels like it's all on purpose. At least I'm not buying the dumps, I'm too far in at this point to risk much more cash, I don't need a 2025 dump happening and I'm 100% invested.
>>
>>62605905
Fucccckkkk. Reminds me of that time I saw them going in on Micron and considered it a top signal. But I ignored it, and look at me now down tens of thousands. Guess I gotta start browsing here just to see if they're going into stocks I'm in.

Yeah I really do feel like it’s kinda harder to be a bear than a bull. Bears get like a day or two and then more often than not get fucked, just my experience really. Last year tried shorting the quantum shit and had maybe one really good day then got fucked and lost money. It would have been much easier and more profitable to just be a delusional bull.

anything short is time bound, whether it be long puts or short stock, short call spreads whatever. combine that with an upward drift in markets and its harder to make money as a retarded bear. you will never make money buying the top of cyclical stocks though. maybe nominally after inflation in 10 years.
