Smigstrodamus with the day's playbook and some thoughts for the coming weeks.

We pump then dump today, NFPR suggests a 0% chance of rate cut and now likley 60/40 whether we hike 25 bepis boints this month or do nothing as per usual and delay the inevitable rake hikes till after midterms.

There will be chop and any Iran/Ukraine conclusions could alter the ladscape dramatically but as it stands there will be more pain but also more opportunities.

Smigstrodamus' thesis remains unchanged, chop/crab downwards for a week then start to sell rapidly towards the end of September, bottoming mid October then retard rally November and December before correcting early 2028.

Depends what it stems from. Weimar Germany had 30% unemployment with inflation and budged deficit increases but so did many post-commie East Euro nations doing deflation and budged deficit decreases before their economies went parabolic.
In this case it's more of a Weimar scenario I think so not a good thing, no.

China control 95-98% of Global Gallium Supply. One to watch as the supply chain wars heat up. Couldn't be cheaper for such large potential.

Gallium is a critical technology metal with a low melting point (29.76 degrees Celsius) used primarily in electronics.
Here are 20 primary uses of Gallium, maintaining no special font formatting (like bold text) and kept under the requested character limit:

Semiconductors and Electronics

* GaAs Wafers: Substrates for smartphone microchips.
* GaN Chips: Energy-efficient EV chargers and power supplies.
* 5G and 6G Stations: Amplifiers driving telecom networks.
* Optoelectronics: Substrates making blue and green LEDs for screens.
* Laser Diodes: Used in Blu-ray players and fiber optics.
* Photovoltaics: Solar panels for aerospace and satellites.

Military and Aerospace

* AESA Radar: Active radars for fighter jets like the F-35.
* Electronic Warfare: Jamming devices needing high-power chips.
* Thermal Interfaces: Cooling to prevent avionics overheating.

Medical and Healthcare

* Galinstan Thermometers: Non-toxic mercury replacement.
* Gallium Nitrate: Injection managing cancer-related hypercalcemia.
* PET Imaging: Gallium-67 and Gallium-68 isotopes for tumor detection.
* Dental Amalgams: Liquid component replacing mercury in fillings.
* Antimicrobials: Implant coatings disrupting bacterial iron uptake.

Industrial and Advanced Engineering

* High-Temp Thermometers: Measures extreme temperatures up to 2000 degrees Celsius.
* Flexible Electronics: Alloys printing stretchable circuits.
* Mirror Coatings: Creates highly reflective industrial mirrors.
* Plutonium Stabilization: Stabilizes nuclear weapon pits.
* Hydrogen Generation: Reacts with water to produce hydrogen gas.
* Neutrino Detection: Liquid tanks capturing solar neutrinos.

I wanted to start a business selling raw farm eggs to Boomers. Well after research I discovered that the factory farms in California have so much money and power they lobbied to make transporting or buying eggs that are raw, washed and un-uncandled illegal. They are required by law to be refrigerated as soon as you step of a rancher’s property. This has nothing to do with health safety. It’s only because factory farms have the ability to buy the permits and licenses to enable this business practice. Well guess who else doesn’t need to refrigerate eggs? Any tech delivery service such as DoorDash, instacart, uber eats etc..the way they skirt the law is because they aren’t a delivery service. They are a tech company that provides a platform for delivery services to customers. They also lobbied to create this law to by pass the huge licensing mandate for needing to refrigerate food. (So technically they don’t have to keep any of your perishable food cold by law, lol wtf?)

Well guess what senpai, I found a loop hole. I can do even better after reading the food transportation and delivery laws. I can arbitrage “organic” food from stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

TL;DR fuck these bullshit monopolies all I wanted to do was sell some healthy eggs and I found an even better business idea.

sounds like a mental problem
you need to realize that you'll never perfectly time anything so stop thinking about direction and think about position sizing instead
"does this stock make me feel bad when it dips" if yes then downsize your position and put in something safer
it's not worth the stress because more stress = worse health = less time in the market = less money

they are making big noises about buybacks which suggest they want to avoid this
but they often make sounds which contradict what they actually intend to do
i do think it would be very bad for rates to go much higher and the goyim can deal with inflation since really bread and circuses are cheap
>>62659712
by investing into europe is my guess
being generous, i would say it's because they want to be conservative and avoid drawdowns but the issue is that, generally, it is not safer than brkb and neither does it outperform it, with just a handful of exceptional years
i imagine the fund also invests into norwegian companies simply because they are norwegian companies rather than for purely cynical profit

>It is but it was a term that got popular only when the AI build out stalled. AI used to be enough but when it was clearly a joke they needed to rebrand.
Yeah because to people in the 20th century we're living in lala actual sci-fi land and they would not hesistate a single second to call GPT-5.6 "AI" like Data from Star Trek.
We only needed a new label bc AI got so good.

The article is a bit ambiguous. First generation EUV was commercialized in 2018, so "15 years behind" would mean Chinese EUV in 2033. Then the article says he said China would need 15 years to develop EUV, which could mean 15 years from today, or 15 years from when China started development (whenever that might have been).

Anyway, the article says he said it's a "reasonable assumption". He doesn't claim to have any special knowledge about the state of the Chinese EUV program.

The expectation that this kind of thinking might start to pervade Washington is probably the reason why China a few years ago began building 346 new ICBM silos to complement to the mere 18 silos it had before

Ackchyually!!!
AGI is a term Scam Altman and his cadre of pedophiles coined to avoid the scandal of stealing copyrighted material left and right because according to him AGI will produce original content and will learn as a person instead of just plagiarizing.
Anyone believing that is a fucking moron, but of course the journalist shallow it hook and sinker because the bubble must grow.
Meanwhile in the real world Sony and another music producer are sueing for hundreds of billions for copyright violations.
