BWET is case in point. It has somehow evaded meme stock detection and most people haven't heard of it until the past month. As a result it's been allowed to run up over +4,000% this year. If meme traders caught onto it earlier it would've never made it over a few hundred percents.

Bond baggies will never understand the simple fact that when stocks go up, then the stocks you bought go up. If bonds go up then all the bonds you just bought are worth less. When you get down to it, the only people that should be buying bonds are PUSSIES or people with inside knowledge that there is going to be a massive deflationary crash. It's so much easier to just not deal in the real world and leave bonds for the retarded boomers getting fleeced by their financial advisors and retarded pensioners that aren't allowed to invest their own money.

So, what the hell is going on? Are things escalating? You go on twitter and everyone is losing their shit, refineries exploting and a lot of panicans.

This is the gayest war in history. Nobody knows what the hell is going on. I remember being a child and seeing live on tv Yugoslavia getting bombarded. And now, in 2026, when even homeless people in the third world have cheap android phones with somewhat decent cameras, we barely get any info.

I don't know how anyone can compare this to dotcom and all the dark fiber that got laid out and never used. Nvidia is producing as much as they can, micron and worst korea are making as much memory as they can, supply is so constrained that SpaceX is making money basically just renting out their GPUs, anything that isn't bolted down and plugged in has Singaporeans trying to buy it and smuggle it to run in a datacenter in China to the point that you now need an ID to buy a GPU in California (but not to vote).
Even the AI bears have switched from "AI is useless lmao 6 fingers" to "local AIs will totally beat the frontier models in 6 more months!" Not realizing that would mean even more buying pressure if we're all building our own AI servers.
Anyone that thinks we're going to enter into any sort of glut of literally anything in the next 2 years is a retard. At best we'll enter some sort of equilibrium IF frontier models reach some sort of wall.
The only bear case I can come up with is a Luddite revolution by unemployed software engineers, but I think they're too pornsick to revolt in any meaningful way.

The deficit won't bankrupt America

they have a card they can pull to make the debt go away

It's called inflation

If you inflate the dollar 1000%
do you know what happens to US debt?
the debt is cut down to 10% of its value. It's exactly as simple as it sounds.

this is the card governments go to every time they have a debt crisis.
Only Greece couldn't do it because the EU wouldn't let them, because Greece doesn't have monetary control over the Euro

Remember this when people tell you can buy bonds at 5.50% "risk free".

The vast majority of countries in the world use inflation to escape debt. We've just never seen it in our lifetime in the developed world, but it's extremely common. Hundreds of countries, right now, are inflating their currencies to ease their debt burdens.

It works real well the first time a country does it. They think inflation is just a magic fix to get out of debt.
but that success is tempting, and they do it again, but it's not as effective

anyway, it's a short term fix.
long term, inflation is terrible
so terrible that inflation over 5% shouldn't be allowed.

Sovereign debt should be tacked to the value of gold, and government couldn't pull this shit. when you buy a bond, it shouldn't be redeemable in just currency. It should be redeemable in the value of the currency in gold.

they won't address it either
boomers would drag the country to the gave with them before they willingly give up their welfare checks

at some point,
in the near future
they will be forced to inflate. Absolutely no fucking chance will they cut

anyway, they can still out inflate entitlements. entitlements are adjusted annually. you begin the year devaluing the currency, continue entitlement payments. half way through the year becaue of devaluation, the entitelement payments will be a fraction of what they were at the beginning of the year.

as well, another thing governments do,
is they have "official" inflation
which is vastly different from real inflation due to them cooking the books. that's another way to reduce entitlement payments.

they're going to be forced to do all this shit unless they can pull 20% annual GDP growth out of their ass, or cut
and I consider 20% annual GDP growth a higher probability than cuts.

The cliches are true when applied to proven strategies like a diversified portfolio over a long period of time. But that wasn't my point it was just my disdain for big monies attempts to counter meme traders
>>
>>62760217
Oh well. Though it is clearly obvious stocks are being held down the moment they show promise and are known to retail. No way these stocks just suddenly go flat the moment retail notices that is just way too coincidental to be mere acceident.

Just the telecom stuff alone is enough to make Spacex the largest company in the world in the next few years, even if they never manage to get Starship working reusably. An expended Starship carrying Starlinks is still cheaper per-ton than reusable Falcon 9, and the big next-gen Starlink sats are way more powerful than the old ones. The most recent Starship launch increased the entire constellation's capacity by 3%.

37 Starship launches of the same generation Starlink sats (keep in mind they launched F9 165 times last year) will launch more bandwidth to orbit than the entire global internet. Feel free to do the math yourself.

And they're not going to "win." They need infinite free graphics cards for the rest of time to win. Other countries have or are well on their way to having nationwide fiber networks, at least in population centers. What you are describing is largely an American problem and is happening because of the primacy of HOA's as well as the citizens of this country's tendency to live in the middle of nowhere so they can get by on $15 an hour. The demographic that does this is also overrepresented on 4chan and the wider internet at large because they are unable to socialize with peer groups in real life. I get being excited over starlink with that context in mind, if you are a retard.

I really don't give a fuck about the ai shit I'm gonna be honest with you. The value of Spacex is in Starship as a launch platform and the understanding that below a certain launch cost (which Spacex has achieved) it becomes cheaper to launch modular low-efficiency infrastructure into space than it is to pay contractors to build and maintain it on earth, pay property taxes, water, and electric bills over the life of the product, and then pay someone *again* to decommission it when it's time to upgrade it.

AI is currently what gets them investment cash but if that business ever collapses they can just deorbit all the ai datacenters for free while they retool and rotate into traditional datacenters and webservers so they can undercut Oracle, Cysco, AWS, etc. just as effectively.

This shit isn't a joke dude, Spacex has a monopoly on building networked infrastructure in a place that has no taxes, utility, or disposal costs, and what little costs they do have are going to get cheaper over time.

They're literally not using any of those chips. Maybe 30% of what has been bought up already is actually plugged in and not sitting in warehouses collecting dust. This faggot is right, though, in that there will be no glut after the smoke clears. The chips they're using aren't GPU's that can be used for other purposes after this is all over. They're going to be e-waste, like the dedicated crypto mining cards leather jacket and his manly butch cousin were pushing in 2022. I really do not see people building rigs to have their own AI clusters. Maybe if you are a CTO at one of the few startups that are going to survive the upcoming turmoil? Other than that, whatever model your company is running will be run on hardware they own and that will be that, compute will be rationed out to SWE's and cyber people and probably not available in the quantities it is today. Depends. Short term might still be some picks&shovels infrastructure plays like memory, chips, energy, photonics, cooling, construction, racks, whatever. Longer term might be neoclouds, hyperscalers, software. For chips + memory it's MU/NVDA/AMD/AVGO/ASML/TSMC/SNDK/STX//SMCI, energy has obvious BE, then somelike like MRVL/DELL/HPE/CAT, there are tons of options to pick. For hyperscalers you have GOOG/AMZN/META/MSFT, neoclouds ORCL/NBIS/CRWV, software could be almost anything, but popular picks are PLTR/DDOG/SNOW/INTU/CRM/NOW/ADBE/APP. Special attention to cybersecurity, like CRWD/ZS

If I were to personally point some tickers out I'd say MU/AMZN/PLTR/ORCL, but the options are plentiful.

I just deploy my cash in batches whenever there's a red day on a stock I like. That way if there's even a bigger dip later I can slurp that too. Today I might slurp some MU for example, but not with all the cash I have.

I dont get it, does your broker not allow after hours trading or something? IBKR does.
>>
>>62760525
Mine allows partial after hours and that was only recently. It is still irrelevant that some brokers allow it, because that's the entire point. I shouldn't have to switch broker to get access to something that has no reason being limited in the first place.
Have the market be open 24/7 or have it be closed for everyone at the same time.

Considering that midterms aren't over yet selloff doesn't sounds all too insane. If anything the current rally doesn't make that much sense, so for market to cool off for now sounds quite reasonable.

Either way I'm stll expecting a pretty sizeable rally over ATH's this year with any dips being a buying opportunity.

The current bear case is and has been that the current computing demand is driven overwhelmingly by Anthropic/Open AI, who aren't profitable and will keel over eventually, creating such a huge demand destruction that will make everything fall apart.

While I do find that to be a plausible scenario, it's not something that I'd expect to unfold for quite some time. IPO will tell more, but OpenAI wasn't even aiming to be profitable until 2030, so we shall see.

There might be a correction after data center boom stops. Only to explode again after robots AI or space AI becomes the new meta.

The only problem with AI big tech is that massive growth period is probably over. It's still going to be profitable long term for sure but investing in space might give better returns.

There will probably be multiple corrections, especially after the margins will start to decrease, as everyone is scared shitless and waiting for everything to fall apart, but unless something major happens, then the buildout appears to be lasting for at least a couple of years, where I don't think the overall capex will be slowing down that dramatically, so the current valuations are still attractive. Sure, the easiest money has already been made and with another quite likely boom in robotics/self driving vehicles likely coming within next couple of years, not to mention that the current hardware has a certain lifespan and will need to keep getting replaced, creating a very steady demand for computer hardware. How big is yet to be seen, but it may keep the sector from falling apart and may compound into much higher highs if combined with new booms.

Think about it, not only will they need to sustain the demand for the AI hardware and its replacement, but they will also need to supply the new demand for robotics and self diriving vehicles.

Yeah, there will likely be better opportunities elsewhere, but riding the current wave should be fine. Maybe wait for pullbacks/corrections to get in though.
