Holy shit ASTS is getting absolutely raped. Will check the subreddit, I'm pretty sure some of the baggies that went all in are contemplating suicide. This was like the most obvious thing ever because ASTS management basically just makes up guidance that never tracks. If you believed the 2025 guidance they should already be providing a worldwide test service., instead they're not even in touching distance of 45 sats.

Usually if it isn't a beat its off a few bepis. ASTS guidance is diabolical because they promised 45 sats and a BETA service end of 2025. Then they said 45 sats end of 2026, now they're saying 45 sats 2027. They've sat around 12 sats(?) since Q1 I think. I don't really understand how the guidance can be so shit. Shouldn't all of these launches be pre-booked many months in advance? They're always guiding for 45 but there aren't any launches, I'm not a lawyer but this seems like its already bordering on some type of securities fraud.

Smg is 50% a social club for depressed incels who gamble on stocks because they convince themselves they have no future. None of them even know how to fo research. Generals like pmg and gme and bbblgbty+ are approaching 100%
>>
>>62768473
>give it like 500 hundo and then let it run on auto for a week
that's exactly what I'm doing, started with $400 with a $200 daily loss limit. just babysitting and making sure it's operationally healthy for the first week.

and yeah I'm trying to look for seasonality effects like earnings season or things like that without overfitting. one thing that the data shows is that naive VRP, like just blindly shorting vol based on market implied IV at open, doesn't work. unsurprising but it's often framed as 'market premia' and persistent edge. sure maybe in terms of frequency but from what I'm looking at it underperforms buy-and-hold when done naively/simply.

Yes it does, this the dashboard I've been working on for it in the last week. It started as a dash for the deployment ops and NAS stuff, but then I thought why not just add my own market UI to it. My live account is the top left, the others are various paper accounts. On the right hand side panel it shows my live processes.

It's not something I just started, I began taking it seriously summer 2025, focusing on MEV and DeFi DEX arbitrage, and prior to that had read probably a meters worth of relevant books over the years. After having minor success with defi arb I worked on directional strategies for equities and got into feature engineering + formulaic alphas, then moved on to volatility. I knew it'd be the most complicated thing so I saved it for last. I'm just now starting to focus on cross sectional stuff (like ingesting a lot of tickers simultaneously) and exogenous stuff like earnings, FED events, etc.

Also, what you're basically saying here is that your process, or at least the one you're suggesting, is to find 'overbought' narratives and short them (whether that results in a net short or long). That's a data process, contradicting your point here:

Public narratives or sentiment is data, and the process you're discussing has been studied extensively.

GLP-1 drugs can reduce appetite, but they can't change people's craving for junk food, which is essentially just an addiction. As a result, we'll see fewer chronically obese people, but they'll be stuck in a cycle: eating junk food, getting fat, taking GLP-1s to get slim, and then eating junk food all over again.
