I've been thinking of investing in RDDT after today's dump. They have impressive annual and quarterly growth, but I'm very concerned over the quality of the posts there affecting their user retention, especially considering they don't pay their moderation team. The lack of compensation of their mods may not be sustainable going forward and their US DAUs are declining which adds another concern. The price action this year has been underwhelming but I think it's a buy right now, and so does my friend Jim Cramer. But I keep going back to their unpaid moderation. Can you imagine not being paid to moderate a place like that? For free? What do you think, anons?

Let's say we're rewinding the clock, it's the start of the day and we all read the news about the big crash. Okay. We have $10k to spend, so we do two hypotheticals.

1: EWZ at the bottom, priced at $31.40.
2. CRWV at the bottom (ty Mr.Musk, very cool of you!), priced at $51.24.

318 EWZ stocks, $14.8 leftover.
195 CRWV stocks, $8.2 leftover.

Now let's say we sell those 318 EWZ stocks at $34.05. We're up $827.9.
And we do the same with the 195 CRWV stocks at $57.70. We're up $1251.5.

American tech wins again. Easily at that.

Like with any new business, the plan is to rasie a pile of money, buy stuff, spend it on infrastructure and try to turn a profit. Anthropic already turned a profit in Q2 this year and as time goes on they would spent enough buying gpus and would have fine-tuned their training methods enough that they are more efficient, so they have to spend less money getting new compute. Thats the idea I guess.

simply a mere coincidence this slide wasn't in the S-1, dont worry though theyll update it in a week when no one is paying attention anymore, the anthropic way
>>
I think the "Other expenses" in the S1 (which appeared all of a sudden in H1 2026) that everyone is talking is related to the fact that Anthropic has recently started constantly vibecoding their own monorepo and other systems. They probably don't count that in the operating compute category since it's internal.

I would be proven wrong if it suddenly disappears in the next filing.

Anthropic isn't even public yet, nigga. Calm down.

The reason why this is important is because if a company posted a 9,900% increase then everyone's thesis would (rightfully) be that things bordering on this magnitude would continue to happen for some time. When it turns out that isn't then everyone's thesis is wrong.
This is the current case with Anthropic since everyone talks about the gigantic growth during the first half of this year.

>Anthropic employees and early investors will be able to sell their shares on the first day the AI firm begins trading, followed by several scheduled dates in which IPO lock-ups expire. This phased approach deviates from the traditional IPO process, in which insiders are unable to sell their shares for 180 days following a company’s Wall Street debut.

>Under Anthropic’s staggered lock-up schedule, workers and insiders will be able to sell an unspecified number of Class A shares as time passes after the debut. The lock-ups open 27, 48, 62, and 76 days following the IPO, the filing explained.

You would need to host, maintain, and hire people to handle the local model. Maybe it will be feasible ina. Decade or so, but we're moving the industry at breakneck paces.

If you'd remember only three years ago, everyone was making fun of how shit AI was with the Will Smith spaghetti eating videos and weird dog trippy stable diffusion stuff.

I think it's more pragmatic for a company to continue renting their AI services for now, until we hit a hard and definite plateau of ability where local models can compete.

Thanks to the power of AI I can quickly find the answer. With the exception of 1966 it has been pretty good.

It should be noted that within 2-4 years of a year ending in 6 midterm a massive Financial Crisis or Market Crash occurred.

1966 - happened during the midterm.
1976 - rolled into the Double Digit inflation and the Oil Crisis
1986 - Black Monday Crash and the Friday the 13th Mini Crash
1996 - Asian Financial Crisis and Dot Com Bubble
2006 - Housing Bubble and Global Financial Crisis
2016 - Bitcoin crash and the Covid Crash

they don't replace supercomputers, those things do stuff that ai can't do. i'm not nerd enough to explain but they are simulating nuclear explosions and molecular chemistry, guess and check problems that are extremely difficult. ai allows for simple hardware to do extremely difficult and novel tasks that normally would take dedicated hardware/software, it brings down the cost of countless tasks and makes them doable on mass-produceable one size fits all hardware.

they probably aren't entirely wrong. the fundamental issue is what we see today was from a 2017 white paper. the only real advancements have been scaling. you are not going to scale to infinity. eventually some new architecture breakthrough or hardware breakthrough will happen in a decade or two and the industry will be rekindled. this isn't even really the first "AI" boom it's just the biggest one yet.
