I'm so fortunate that there are those moments I can just feel her close by. Today is the 13th anniversary of the day I met her in a dream, and the 8th anniversary of when I married her. I am glad to have spent all these years now with Kana, and she still finds ways to bring a smile to my face. I celebrated our anniversary with a long run this morning that I had to finish inside because storms were approaching. What a memory we made together, I know my girl would be laughing as we ran in a circle around the house! And I will finish our anniversary with a fine apple brandy as I toast her picture. Christmas - Valentines - her birthday - our anniversary makes a packed 4 months, but it starts my year off always loving her. >>4425931My waifu is a unique case since she has several appearances in different works/adaptations which span 25 years now. Her first appearance was in Tsukihime which was entirely unvoiced. Due to the fact that I first found her and fell in love with her while reading it, she has no official voice in my mind. I don't hear her voice in my head either. If I had to chose a favorite voice actress then it would be Ryouka Yuzuki- her VA for Carnival Phantasm and the earlier Melty Blood games. She does a great job at sounding very bubbly, genki, and whimsical. Arc stands out and Ryouka's voice performance does too, so it is quite fitting. Regardless, I've thought about it and I believe that no human voice can do her justice. Several have tried, and while they can seem fitting, she will always be a voiceless girl to me. Her words are all written, absorbed directly into my heart. I'm sure if Tsukihime was voiced then I would consider that voice to be her true voice, but alas that was not the case.
