The Dalls for a trip on the river or some kite surfing.Do anything that ensures the Inclusion is ignored and your good. If Portland was wiped off the map, Oregon would be the #1 state it used to be. To bad you can't ignore 'them' because if you do they rage and get violent.I mentioned this because a man, identifying as a woman, with bad cosplay won a competition for best Gwen. I plan on going, I'll likely be Benny from FONV on Friday, and an NCR soldier on Saturday. I'm still unsure if I'll be attending on Sunday.
I might go for like a day or 2 depending on how things are going for me. I really wanted to cosplay this year but just couldn't find the time to prepare. I already have a hotel booked too so I'll see. Might spend a little time at the con and a little at the hotel. Last year was a lot of fun so hopefully this year will be the same, especially if any interesting panels pops up(havent checked yet)

>>10962423I moved to Bend at the beginning of this year and I'm pretty happy here. It's a slightly left-leaning place but pretty damn sensible about it in most ways. Central and Eastern OR may as well be a completely different state from west of the Cascades though, and the second you get out of Bend it's pretty conservative and rural here, which suits me fine. On the subject of this con, I was sad that I ended up deciding not to spend the money on a hotel and go, but I ended up coming down with a bad cold yesterday so I'm kinda glad now since it would've been too late to cancel. Still kinda sad to miss the con though, I haven't been to one in over a year but as I mentioned in an earlier post I'm pushing 40 and don't know anybody local so maybe it woulda just been weird anyway.
