Do you prefer to cosplay as more well-known or "underground" less known characters from more obscure media?Historically all of my cosplays have been somewhat obscure game characters, at least in my region, very little people play Yakuza so the few people that recognized my Kiryu cosplay made me feel quite good

I was pic related and the whole weekend only twice did someone know what I was (The group of Viking cosplayers were really hyped to see me.)

>>10963012A mix of well known and obscure. Sometimes I go for well known characters and sometimes obscure characters. Really it depends on the mood and interest.
>>10963012Obviously obscure shit. No reason to get excited once you've seen the same costume twice per day. Only good thing about it is going to group meetups. Also obscure things actually let you open up conversation since everyone has talked about the big works to death already.
