Just recently moved to Spain. Are there any con scene and interesting cosplay scenes?
I've never even been to the country, but I'm also probably the only person willing to answer on this dead as dead board. Spain has a chain of cons, mostly in the north, called ExpOtaku. https://www.expotaku.com/ In my experience, chain cons are super corpo and lame but if they're running that many they have to be at least....kind of professional
>>10971486your best bet is to try to search on tiktok for tags near the city you moved to. Sometimes there's small cons or events, or you can even start following a few of the big tiktok cosplayers from Spain, and they usually make a big post when an event is a week or two away. Good luck OP!

Here's an up to date list of every spaniard con:https://www.listadomanga.es/Manga Barcelona in December is pretty decent. The Spaniard representative for the World Cosplay Summit is chosen there too.Madrid and Andalusia have some big ones too but I haven't been there so I can't say much. If you are not used to Spain's climate avoid cons during the summer months. It gets unbearably hot (40°C). The north is less hot but there are no major cons in summer.
