How do the hexagons prevent dangerous chemicals from leeching into my food?

Probably the greatest kitchen accessory I have bought in the last 20 years

I thought the whole point of hexclad is it didnt have that poisonous coating?

the chemicals aren't familiar with hexagons (yet) so they don't know what to do when they see them

The vampires were a super predator lording over us for epochs before we discovered the cross. All those perfectly honed instincts driven into hypnotic madness in its presence. I mean, how often in nature do you come across perfectly straight 45 degree angles? They can stare into the abyss and it can stare back into them like we cannot even imagine. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Yes, it's a SCAM. Good eye, anon. You're always on the lookout for a scam or a "meme" or a fraudulent product.
Not like us sheep, us "npcs" who don't question everything with extreme skepticism.

You caught it, anon. You exposed the scam. Thank you for your service.

Nope.

No!!! Do YOUR OWN research. Using google and AI bots surely you can be just as smart as an expert in the field. Especially since you're aware of the new world order and the jews and aliens and deep state and you didn't get vaxxed. Those "experts" are all corrupt and lying to everyone with their "official narratives". We know better. We reject everything and trust social media. That's the truly smart way to be. Doing your own research. Who needs that 8 years of college? lol, I have a SMARTphone.
And it's taught me that microplastics and teflon and mercury and seed oils are all BAD even though they're still widely available.

I'M gonna outlive all y'all cuz I did my own research!!!!

Understand that all "non-stick" coatings are one and the same. Their compositions are all very similar. They have not found a non-pfas one, and probably wont ever find one.
There is a reason they all still burn off at 500 degrees, even after the DuPont Teflon lawsuits 40 years ago.

PFOA was "phased out" (aka you can still manufacture with it with some stipulations as of 2025 in the USA). All the manufacturers did was pulled a K2 Synthetic Weed move. They slightly altered the chemical so its no longer technically PFOA, while still being a forever chemical that is destroying mankind.

PTFE, PFNA, PFDA, PFHxA, PFBS, FEP, ETFE, HFPO-DA, etc etc etc.
PFOA free pan means literally nothing

Fucking HexClad got caught using PTFE and just a few months ago changed the formula due to a class action lawsuit. Who knows what other almost identical chemical they are using.

If its non stick, it will poison you when it burns. Its waste material from manufacturing is a forever chemical that was dumped into the chinese river outside the factory.
No exceptions. Marketing it as hex's and charging a stupid amount for it wont change that.

>Understand that all "non-stick" coatings are one and the same
Does this include ceramic 'nonstick' pans?
>>
>>21570037
ESPECIALLY ceramic!
>>
>>21570027
Do you assume that everyone is so stupid that they turn the burner on high and then leave these pans on there with no food or water or oil and just let the coating burn off at 500 degrees?
Are you serious?
Because I use my nonstick pan to cook over easy eggs and stuff. It never comes close to smoking hot because that's not what those pans are for. Yet you believe we should ban and outlaw and cease production because dupont was irresponsible with their dumping of the chemicals needed to manufacture these pans.

Not gonna happen. Go chain yourself to a tree in Oregon.
>>
>>21570044
actually no, ceramic is inert
>>
>>21570037
Depends. Full ceramics are even shittier and shorter lasting than nonstick, while having cadmium and lead in them. They shed just the same way.
Also some just mix the ceramic into standard pfas nonstick. Its a crapshoot.

Enameled cast is the only halfway decent option, but its nonstick properties are pretty shit.

Your image of some retard-owned pan is evidence that everyone is dumb and cannot be trusted to properly use them?
>lel oh lel
WTF is that supposed to mean.

Doesn't matter. They're not illegal and they're not going to be illegal and just because you use it for blackening steaks and you scrape it with metal doesn't mean anyone else does. Tough shit, hippie.

this is the best advice. butter, oil and stainless steel pans all the way, wine or vinegar to deglaze

Yes.
>dupont was irresponsible
is. and always has been. these are forever chemicals, there's no responsible way of disposing of them.

Everything besides cast iron, carbon steel snd stainless steel is a scam.
>>
>>21570027
>What is sol-gel
retard spotted, just buy an ikea non-stick for 20$ and you're settled, the PTFE scam has come to an end, its way safer even if its still leeching some titanium oxide
>>
>>21570047
"ceramic" nonstick pans are not made of porcelain ceramic, they're the same chemical coating shit
>>
>>21569852
What about tomatoes. Can't go in stainless
>>
>>21572295
you're thinking of cast iron
>>
>>21572295
No I think anon is right no stainless steel tomato cans only glas, plastic or aluminum
>>
>>21569858
the hexagons are raised up above the teflon to reduce the likelihood of your utensils scratching the teflon. teflon is at its most dangerous when it is scratched and flaking off.

you still have to take the usual precaution of not using a teflon pan on high heat.
>>
>>21572367
Negative. Stainless is nonreactive and is safe for acidic foods. Enameled cadt iron is best, but stainless is fine. Cast iron, carbon steel and unanodized aluminum are all no-go for acidic food.
>>
>>21570068
just get a ceramic pan?
>>
>>21572383

If by "at its most" you mean "not at all" you are right.
A flake of teflon comes back out the other end just like it got in - unless your intestines heat up to 280+ °C of course, in which case - may god have mercy on your soul.

this nigga things macroplastic doesn't break down into microplastic
