Dry Ramen Bros...

Damn, you don't need to give me more reasons to eat my ramen raw.
BRB. Getting me four packages for breakfast because 'Dying in my sleep' isn't happening at this point.

he died from a small bowel obstruction, which are the most dangerous kind. it was basically a freak accident. he likely had undiagnosed underlying bowel issues.

Also he lived in a shithole where the doctors didn't suspect bowel obstruction and the delay in treatment killed him, since small intestine obstructions need immediate emergency treatment.

I ate it weeks ago. Was fine, just drink lots of water. Sapporo Ichiban soup packets suck on their own though.

imagine being so genetically worthless that 3 packets of ramen end your bloodline

Better than ending your bloodline because no woman will touch you, right my little basement dweller?
>>

Some anime did it like 2 weeks prior to the incident so all the weebs are doing it.

Also it is nice and crunchy, the little bits that are broken off and miss the bowl are nice little treats while you wait for the water to heat up.

how have you never made ramen before? the noodles literally dont expand and are extremely soft, this kid only died because of stupid doctors and from living in a place where nobody takes health seriously
>>

Then it would've obstructed his esophagus lol.
>>
>>21574687
He was from a rich family in a thirdoid country. You can find articles that say that the doctors thought it was poisoning.

Basically he was poisoned to death by someone in his family and it was bribed away. Typical thirdoid behaviour.

you guys arent actually talking about DRY as in you havent boiled it in water? you're supposed to boil it with the ingrediants so it becomes like noodles. you dont actually eat it uncooked do you? i cant be reading this right.
>>
>>21575867
instant noodles are already cooked
>>
>>21575878
but you're not eating them hard and dry surely? you're cooking them in water so they become noodles yes?

So is pasta but nobody eats it dry.
>>
>>21575956
>So is pasta
No it isn't, pasta is just shaped then dried from raw dough. Ramen noodles are usually fried so they're actually cookied which is why they taste okay dry. If you try eating dry pasta it's too hard to really chew and it tastes unpleasant like raw starch. Dry ramen is more like eating chips or crackers.
>>
>>21574806
If you're so fucking stupid poor you can't afford an alternative to dry fucking ramen, maybe you should just fucking die.

Microwave spaghetti or those mac and cheese thingies are usually precooked just like noodles. Yet nobody would eat that out of the box.

I'm obviously not talking about ravioli and the like which are clearly raw dough.

>>21575867
>>21574733
when I was in college or drunk Id eat them like crackers after shaking them in a bag with the seasoning. and other anon is right I usually did it because I was too drunk to cook and also when I was sick of soup cause poor and couldnt afford alot
>>
>>21575981
dude break off a piece of uncooked ramen pack and youll instantly be able to tell how much more feasible it is to eat then dry spaghetti/mac n cheese noodles
>>
>>21575981
>precooked
Probably boiled and then dried again so they don't have the same kind of crispy texture that something gets after frying.
>>
>>21575938
The only time I've actually done it myself is when it was broken up into small pieces and used as part of a salad.
But I've seen other people eat the brick straight from the pack.

Stop being a little bitch and try it. Take a ramen noodle pack, break it up and eat some.
Its very similar to eating the crunchy noodles out of the can.

Im not sure whats so hard for you to fathom about this.
I used to do it 20 years ago when I wanted a snack and was too lazy to cook the ramen.

>>21574687

what about if you blanch your ramen by pouring boiling water through the brick until it's the consistency of a soggy biscuit and eating it like a sandwich?
>>
>“Raw instant noodles are difficult to digest, which may cause obstruction or intestinal blockage that leads to abdominal pain, vomiting, and severe complications that might be fatal. They contribute to dehydration as they pull water from the digestive process. There are related risks of infection and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract,”
Not a great way to go.
>>
>>21576395
This story has nothing to do with free trade, it's an Indonesian company, and it manufactures its noodles in Egypt. So if anything it has to do with Egyptian food safety standards... ironically maybe protectionism played a part too since they are probably manufacturing locally due to some import restriction or some bullshit. So literally the opposite.

There's a snack like that for kids in Australia. The barbecue ones were my favourite.
>>
>>21576425
They aren't difficult to digest at all. They're basically potato chips. This is all a bullshit web of lies to cover up the total incompetence of the medical staff. A first year med student would have correctly diagnosed this shit. It's sad and pathetic. A kid died because the hospitals in Egypt are apparent staffed by mental toddlers. And they sent him to toxicology? For sudden onset pain a half hour after a meal? Literal retard shit. Fucking pathetic.
>>
>>21575405
Also popular in Japan. I only see kids eating it though. Never tried it myself. I prefer eating it with hot water.
>>
>>21574687
I'm sure that was the sole reason and there was no other factors whatsoever

How does this make sense when it's bathing in the very water it was cooked in? Shit just dilutes into the water, which you also ingest.

It's common in American jail culture to eat dry noodles, basically it's just like chips when it's all you can get. Some people get more creative with it

3 packs of instant ramen expands to more than double your bodyweight, he died by exploding.

I was going to mention this lol. People in prison will slam the bag on the floor a few times to break it, sprinkle the seasoning on them and eat it like fritos. but you also must understand they create hot ramen with pork rinds in it to be like fake chicken. they just do whatever in there to make believe.
>>

I was vegan, back when my life mattered to me at all. It mattered what I did, even if for the most part what any one individual does doesn't matter, everything you do has little effects like for one I didn't really feel like hanging around people who just don't care about things in general but you also influence the people around you to some extent at least. I ended up homeless though so fuck it

>>
>>21574733
The only person I knew who ate dry ramen was this girl I knew in high school. Went over to her house after making friends at school and she showed me her "hack," which was to crush up the ramen in the package and then add the seasoning to the ramen bits, which she ate while we watched a movie. Then she put her hand down her pants and made me smell it.
>>
>>21579051

>>
>>21574687
There’s no way it dehydrated him that fast… right?
>>
>>21579062
No. Even with the amount of sodium it's not enough to kill you. Intestinal obstruction just from this one meal seems unlikely too as that takes a long time to happen and become that severe.

Maybe he had some kind of medical condition if it wasn't some kind of food poisoning, and it was just an unfortunate incident.

Or he could've been having problems with his digestive system for a long time and this is just what happens. The same thing happened to Simply Sara not that long ago. She had intestinal issues going on for a long time with blockage, got really sick one night, and then died shortly after. I had a family member almost die to the same thing and I've seen another /ck/ poster mention similar things with people they know as well.

People ignore being in pain all the time or they get told it's not that serious, and then it just suddenly progresses very quickly into something that becomes life threatening. It's possible the kid did have an intestinal obstruction but it wouldn't be from one meal, if that's what happened it was probably going on for a while and unfortunately he didn't get the proper care for it.
