I know they have become popular in Chicago. They now offer it at Walmart decided to try some out this weekend. I didn't care for the crust the outer crust kind of crunchy and the pepperoni could have been higher quality was a bit greasy. All in all I thought it was pretty decent for a frozen pizza I think it's better than Domino's anyway
>>21574825i remember your attempt to sound sophisticated "greasy pepperino" more than i remember your overall review "not bad", and so mentally i will mark this one as "gets bad reviews"
I bought one once and thought the sauce tasted weird, wasn't a fan
>>21574825I agree about the crust. It seems like it's always rock hard no matter how long it cooks. I prefer Red Baron for the same price
>>21574825it's meh. I prefer digiorno or red baron. Third place is screamin sicilian
Home Run Inn pizza is bottom half frozen pizza. The best frozen pizza is Connie's. Hands down excellent 'za frozen and fresh both.vntpa
>>21574825It's a par-baked pizza with decent cheese and meat. Par-baked is what gives this pizza the edge over other frozen pizzas. The cheese even comes partially browned out of the box. The crust does get rock hard, I'm with you there. I wonder if one can apply a butter wash mid-bake to moisten it. My go-to for when I don't want to go to the Costco which is farther from my house. Costco frozen pizza isn't as good, but they come in a 4-pack and allow for stylizing them any which way since they're plain.t. morbidly obese
>>21574825These always make me sick, I think there's a flaw in the way they partially pre-bake them that results in contamination.
>>21575038Hmm I will look for it + try if find.
