Every time I see some new and interesting food, I'll hype myself up, try it, then get disappointed over how it tastes the exact same as everything else I eat. There's no variety and, as long as food isn't rancid, I will have no adverse reactions to eating it.

What are some good foods that are legal/possible to eat in the USA?

Gator

I've eaten it a lot as a kid, since I'm from Louisiana. There's nothing special about it. It just tastes like chicken(LMAO), if chicken was left out in a dehydrator for a few hours.

Bull and sheep nuts.

Had it. Tastes like squid. It was fried up like squid when I had it, too.

You can get almost everything here, you just need to start eating at real ethnic places rather than glorified mall food. Rabbit and frog are good and you can get wild game at various places. Lots of Chinese and Korean places have all kinds of fish and sea food including giant snails. Salt and pepper squid is good.

>Buy a gun if you don't have one already
>Shoot some random varmint on the side of the road
>Deep fry it
Tastes like chicken every time

It's like a steak drowned in butter, except it doesn't kill you

A racoon isn't much different from a cat or dog, I'd feel bad killing one.

I've had squirrel before, but I don't remember it being any good.

if you are looking for a restaruant, I guess you should seek out something 'authentic' central/se asian or more likely you would have better luck with unique flavors at something african

Where do you get that?
>>

I first had gator in a diner in a nearly abandoned mall. They deep fried it and served it with salsa and some kinda sour cream sauce. Was pretty tasty. Bit chewy.
