What is your go-to lunch at work?Surely you're not ordering in every day, right anon?
>>21575864chicken jockey
>>21575864>Surely you're not ordering in every day, right anon?why not? i'm working, I got money.I mean I ain't working hard, but still
I just eat whatever is in the office refrigerator.
rushing to the local fast food joint and shoving the hot food in my burning mouth as i drive back as fast as possible during my 30 minute break #verygrateful
>>21575864>Surely you're not ordering in every day,I'm not ordering at all, I'd rather not waste time and money on a shitty meal. Either leftovers or a sandwich to keep me going between breakfast and dinner which are the two main meals of my day.

my boss buys us a large cheese pizza every day. i'm actually kind of sick of it.he only ever eats one slice of it too, then throws the rest away. never seen him bring any of it home with him>t. wrench monkey
I cook for a living so I just eat what I want whenever I want. And I take home dinner too. That's one of the perks. Free drinks and two free meals. Many jobs it's all you can eat and all you can drink.
>>21576003How often do you get fucked by your horse? Did you notice any changes in its sperm taste due to climate change and different nutrition?
>>21575864My grandfather's brother ate pic related almost exclusively for like 20 years.
>>21575864a salad with some leftover meat from last night's dinner if it's warm out, soup if it's cold. also an apple.
Whatever is served in the company canteen every day. Pic related, mapo tofu, tonkatsu, vegetables and bread.
>>21576757*tonkotsu
>>21575864For me, it is the classic office sandwich from the vending machine.
I had Indian food catered one time and some people were actually too scared to try it.
>>21576789No, tonkotsu is pork bone broth. Tonkatsu is battered pork.
>>21575864My boss buys us lunch which makes me super uncomfortable because not everyone gets invited and also she makes us eat lunch for way too long when I should be working. It really creates a shitty work environment
>>21575864cotto salami and 2x cheese sandwich, fruit of the day (plum, orange, apple, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, whatever is on sale). sometimes a small bag of gas station chips to add some crunch to the sandwich
>>21575864I am mandated to dine with clients, prospective clients and colleagues every day. I have to carve out 2+ hours and talk instead of relaxing and enjoying my meals. For the rest of my career. I cook at home as much as possible. I screw around online as much as possible.l because I live in a guilded cage. Although I do have a 7 a.m. flight tomorrow, so no group lunch, just group supper, when I need to be switched on.
>>21575864Taking a 30min stroll through the small town and getting either curry wurst or shopping at the bakery is much more satisfying than sitting in the break room and eating my sandwich, as others said, I work for that money.
>>21575864Lunch is usually steamed veggies and pressure cooked protein. Around 11 I put veggies in one Instant Pot and a protein in my other Instant Pot. At noon, they're both ready with my warm lunch. But I work from home so this setup works for me.
>>21576825*gilded cageESL retard.
>>21576895couldve quoted the entirety of >as possible.l because I live in a guilded cage. are you esl yourself?

We have sausage parties sometimes in the IT department.
>>21576798To be fair that looks like shit compared to good Indian food
>>21577024It looks fine. You're just saying that because it's in takeout containers.
We get sandwiches delivered most of the time
>>21575864when i deliver food full time i always either stop at mcdonalds for a mcchicken or double cheese, or at the chinese buffet, or golden corral. i am currently protesting cici's pizza though because it went up to like10 bucks or something crazy. i can go get a plate of fresh chinese food for ~$10 instead.
>>21575864what on earth is this for real, like what is with that thin egg slice, carrot and pickle

M20vtnMugicha to drink. Main is canned chicken, white beans, red pepper, and onion, mixed with red pesto. Apple, almonds, and prunes on the side. In that order. Every day.
>>21575864what the hell is that
Coffee and sometimes a couple hard boiled eggs. I haven't eaten lunch at work in 3 years now.
>>21575864Panda Express has an offer for $6 plate with 2 entrees. It’s great for a diet, I can eat like a king for around 500-600 calories. I do it about 2x a week then I’ll do subway $4 6 inch subs, usually less calories, around 400 like once a week. The other 2 days, there is a taco place that does 2 for $5 taco specials carnitas, with chips and all the salsa you want on tuesdays, and of course packing a lunch. for me I keep it simple, like a sandwich or whatever. My aim is 500 calories, $5 for lunches. Some weeks, I will eat out less, but I’ve learned that sometimes it better to have a legit meal, then you don’t screw up dieting by snacking, never fast btw. Sorry for the blog, I’m a recovering fattie down 80 lbs, I hope this helps some of my fat blue collar frens lurking.
>>21577588Forgot pic related
Back when I worked, it was in an industrial area, there was a bunch of street food available, a subway, which I was not inside more than 10 times in two years, a pizzaria, a large store...so, plenty of options.I made about 50 bucks an hour, food would cost 10-20, depending on how fancy a mood I was in, so this was alright too.
>>21575864They don't let me work
>>21577333Partner and chair of the technology law practice, BigLaw. I can buy any bloody meal I want but I never have the time or inclination to follow through. Lunch five days or more each week is: seared tuna ahi salad with citrus or asia sesame dressing. I can spear a few mouthfuls while the other guy is talking but 50% de minimus stays behind. Breakfasts are always the fruit plate and cottage cheese if they have it. I'm spent when I get home but cook anyway even if it's after 11. Weekends depend.
>>21577588>I’m a recovering fattie down 80 lbsBased. Did PE get rid of the mixed veggies side? I loved that stuff.>>21580204Have you thought about an eventual career change or early retirement? On the surface it sounds nice but it must be hard to maintain passion for it with so many expectations.
