it was a little better ten years ago when they had more fancy options like salads n stuff, I used to always get the crispy chicken salad, but even then it's still mostly crap. really if they went back to the fancy stuff it could be their business model. the fresh quarter pounder is pretty tasty, if they're going to charge $20 for a meal you just have to justify itas a poor person or a rich person everyone should hate mcdonald's. you are just just now realizing it for the pettiest of reasons. wealth redistribution can go both ways. When you give your money to a company like mcdonald's you're hurting your own community. It's fucking mind boggling that rednecks who are so obsessed with conspiracies n shit just let walmart and mcdonald's come to their town and ruin it by paying people so low. Every time you go there, as low as the prices used to be, that money mostly went away to some rich person somewhere. It was nice getting parfaits for a dollar n stuff but it still wasn't as good of a deal as smart grocery shopping.
The worst part is the quality has remained the same or gotten worse. You're still gambling on getting some FOB jeet giving you cold cardboard fries and a burger that has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours while paying $20+
