Years ago I used to work IT in an office way out in the boonies and was also a raging alcoholic. It was a minimum 1-hour commute one way, and in the evening could be up to an hour and a half if traffic was bad. The office was right next to a Kwik Trip and nothing else, and every day when I left work I'd go there and pick up 2 rib sandwiches or maybe some burgers, some beef jerky, maybe some M&M's, and 3 Hard Arnold Palmer tallboys, all to be consumed on the drive home. Then I'd just spend an hour and a half sittting in my car in crawling traffic listening to podcasts, eating gas station food, and getting my evening buzz going. I did this 5 days a week for two years. Don't miss it.

He told me he stole a stack of tortillas once, not much else. Today I used the restroom and I saw a register employee eyeing the fried food during lunch, the type of burritos, corn dogs, egg rolls that just get thrown out in pounds of trash bags at the end of the day. Why don't they give it to her for free or for like 25 cents each? It's a horrid company, in my opinion. I also hear they watch employees through the camera on a live video feed, to see if you stole their rotten chicken with a broken warmer that was eventually going into the trash. Some dude from India sitting in his boxers spying on the employees.
