How do people still fall for expensive buffets? There's places in Las Vegas that people legit pay $100+ to go eat at like wtf lmao
My local all you can eat sushi place is about $40 for the food + a beerGreat deal but I eat like crazy
100 dollars is not that much money
The buffet @ Wynn hotel one the best. They have food from lots of different countries and I know they're crab leg is flown in fresh from the Bering Sea everyday and they somehow pre-crack it like the crab legs already cracked open when you go get it off the buffet
I need to go before I lose all my money gambling.
>people legit pay $100+ to go eat atlmaoNo they fucking don't. They use casino points. They're almost literally free.
>>21578008>casino points>free
>>21577985I live in Vegas. Used to work for Caesars corporate. It used to be a loss leader to keep people in your property, but really stopped being so. Which means spiking food prices and entry prices. I fucking hate buffets personally, I can never eat that much for it to be worthwhile, but people line up for the cash price and inclusive alcohol depending on the time of day. There's something to be said that you can bring in Peepaw and impress him with AYCE prime rib, while Junior only wants Chinese that you can resolve both problems by taking them to Bacchanal for $60-$100 a plate in one place, and they don't eat the rest of the day, instead of taking them to Old Homestead and Mr. Chow separately.
>>21577992mine is 28 canuckbucks for the lunch menuI eat so much that I can't eat dinner that day
>>21578057For me it's become a place me and my dad go when we've both had rough/shitty weeks
>>21578004The Wynn buffet really blew my mind.
>>21577985Las vegas has specialized in buffets for decades and the quality is very high there. It's similar to an expensive steak spot or expensive italian place opening up. In general, people want to spend more at buffets because they believe the food is higher quality. If you opened a buffet for 6.99 a seat they're going to think it's weird and poison food.
>>21577985The 80 and 100 dollar buffets make more sense in the broader context of vegas restraunt pricing.
>>21578004>>21578090It's actual name is THE Buffet. Lucky for them, it is.
>>21577985I miss living in a state with lots of native american land. Local casino buffet was $25 with crab and lobster, never put 1 cent into the machines
>>21577985I took my family to Captain George's and paid about 500 for everyone but two of my nieces alone probably ate that much in crab legs
$28USD (£20.99) for the dinner menu, £16.99 ($22.82) for the lunch menu at Cosmo
>>21578964>$28USD (£20.99)>£16.99 ($22.82) why did you mix up where each currency was used
>>21578975to get your pic related out of you hehe
>>21578008Gambling is a sin, anon.If you managed to rack up $100 of casino points, it definitely wasn't free.
My local all-you-can-eat sushi place is $15 lunches.I go there weekly.
>>21577985unironically for me its crab legs.
>>21578040Why did casinos give up on the concept of a loss leader buffet to keep people on the property?
We cannot prevent the dynamics of an increasing number of dishonest customers who only enjoy the buffet.
