Does this really cause alzheimers brain cancer or diabeetus, fit?

I still have an old case left of it. I want to drink it over throwing it out entirely but I’m skeered

It's fine if you have like a bunch of em over a short period of time I suppose. I have had diet soda before when I was out of regular soda and had some cans of of it in the house for some odd reason. I actually can sort of appreciate the extremely artificial flavor as like an extremely rare "treat" or something. It also makes me appreciate regular sugar soda so much more.

Sorry, I meant
>It's fine if you DON'T have like a bunch of em over a short period of time
I'm a bit retarded.
>>
If you drink like 30+ cans/bottles then yea, you're set for diabeetus.

Take a guess, you consume organochloric antibiotic compounds just because they happen to be sweet. You give the body the signal for easily digestible cabohydrates coming in a few seconds - and then nothing comes.
Do you really think that sweetness just makes it taste good? No, the taste has lots more of involuntary bodily effects. The body gets ready for the incoming dose of sugars, the liver stops giving glucose into the bloodstream but instead insuline is put there to be ready for the incoming sugar.
This constant free insuline obviously then will have effects, the simplest being that you get more appetite because your blood sugar drops and weight. Not to mention the physiological effects of those random chemicals in the first place.

hello gay retards, people have been drinking diet soda like water for like 50 years and there isn't an obscene increase in alzheimers, or anything like that.

how about you just dont drink 2 12 packs a day and you're fine, like almost everything else in life
>>
>>21582715
everything is fine in moderation, the people who will have harm from shit like this is the same people who turn obese from sugar they are over consumers, drink water have a fizzy drink every once in a while just dont drink them all the time

No u bruh. People on this 2 digit IQ board like to call cigarettes cancer sticks but then I ask you will smoking like a lot like a lot a lot of cigarettes over like a week give you COPD and throat cancer? no? ok this is my point moron. These things are silent killers you're better off having a lot of them over a short period time.

mmm I appreciate your input heterosexual genius. But there's a lot of factors involved in alzheimers occurence rates. And maybe this is me being European and a huge cinephile but growing up in the 90's and 2000's no one here drank 0 sugar soda or it was a very rare thing.most people wouldn't have in their house but EVERYONE had diet coke like the 50% sugar grey cans. So diet soda back then meant less sugar not added aspartame. + if you look at older movies no one ever mentions or has 0% sugar soda.
>>
no, keep drinking the coal tar :)
>>
idk but I rather drink zero sugar then regular soda, trying to cut back on sugar

how would you get diabetes from a fucking zero sugar product YOU FUCKING RETARDS
>>
>>21584021

Why?
You're not really believing that sugar demonising nonsense, right? Remember Fat is bad? Remember the chosterol myth bs? EXACTLY the same again, just took the word "fat" and replaced it with "sugar".
Oh but I'm sure THIS time the guidlines will be correct...
You want to lose weight? Artificial sweeteners are well used in animal farming to increase weight, that effect has been known for decades. What works with pigs also works with humans. At low doses they increase appetite, at higher ones or if people resist it the body temp drops to build some nice fatty tissue.
You wanna drop the age old natural sweetener that man has known ever since his origins and instead replace it with some random ass chemicals that just happen to taste sweet? As a bonus the destruction of your gut bacterial flora as many artificial sweeteners have antibiotic effects. Lovely.

>everything is fine in moderation
>drinks one drop of mercury
>dies a horrific death
Clearly not everything.
>>
>>21584105
You'd be surprised how much mercury people were taking regularly without immediately dying. Granted, the effects were still horrific, but a lot less rapid than most think.
>>
>>21582715
>OP drinks the fizzy drink
>develops old timers disease 40 years later
Only the drink could have caused this...
>>
>>21584105
its actually safe to drink mercury
>>

the theory is something like it tricks your body into thinking its had sugar to it releases insulin and over time it fucks up your insulin production i think its completely false but ive heard that several times
>>
>>21584456
Its good for your syphilis
>>
>>21584461
Not the insuline production, no.
The body is not a simple automaton that works like
>if(sweet) release(insulin);
, no but it prepares for the sugar. You see, the liver normally constantly synthezises glucose and releases it into the bloodstream. THAT has to be stopped, after all soon there will come the sugar from the sweet food/liquid you have in your mouth, right? The signal for that is a small dose of insulin, not to process a whole lot of glucose but to give the liver the command to stop releasing it so that the blood sugar won't overshoot when the food glucose comes.
THAT is the effect, the small bit of insulin makes your blood sugar drop a bit, but not too much - that's the reason why you can consume sugar free sweet drinks in the first place, if the body directly released enough insulin to process the whole expected glucose you'd drop unconscious with hypoglcaemia - but over time there is a low hypoglycaemic state because no new one released. The body notices that and stimulates the appetite. People don't consune "light" products INSTEAD OF the real thing, they consume them ADDITIONALLY.
Ever noticed how despite those sweeteners being in everything these days there is still a fat epidemic? Shouldn't a statistically relevant amount of people have gotten slim by now if they simply replaced 500 cals daily by sweeteners if it worked?
