dad bought beef shoulder and i cooked it in the oven for 4 hours with lots of red wine, shallots, carrots, rosemary and served it with plain potatoes. it was very good i liked it tastes like childhood
>>21585211You are a good son anon, always making your parents tasty meals
i scooped the veggies out of the sauce and served it as a side, i thickened the sauce a lot by boiling off the water after taking the meat out
>>21585211>you get a girlfriend and a job yet boy?>no but please enjoy this overdone roast beef
>>21585218You're just jealous of OP for having a healthy relationship with his folks.>>21585217Looks tasty anon
>>21585211>>21585217That looks really tasty. The gravy has a good sheen to it, a little bit of grease but it's always good in this type of dish. Good effort, I hope your parents enjoyed it
your mum's your dad
>>21585211Ever tried red cabbage? It's PERFECT in sth like this. Sucks in gravy like a sponge tho, so always make enough.
>>21585218Enjoy the time you have left with your parents, and make them a meal. Someday, you'll wish you would have more.
>>21585211Based and goodsonpilled.
>>21585211based as hell
comfy thread desucooking for the people you love is one of the greatest feelings desu
Your food is getting better anon, or at least it is looking better. Make sure you're taking care of your parents and feeding them healthy clean food, you should try getting into seafood more, it won't be as time consuming and it's worth cutting back on all the red meat assuming the seafood is sustainably sourced
>>21585211The good son
>>21585211sloppy, but it ain't slop, hope you enjoyed!
>>21585211I'm going to be sad the day it goes from "parents" to parent. They're looking older BUT your food is looking better.
>>21585211One tiny nitpick is it would be nice to serve a green salad with your meals. Something simple like cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and lettuce would be a perfect accompaniment to your meals.
>>21585222he spams these threads constantlyhis mom stopped wearing her wedding ring in them>>21585211>tastes like childhoodwhyalso, what's wrong with your dad's thumb? is he ai?
>>21585211Bon appetito!

Great job sounds delicious. I'm proud of you anon
>>21585211Next time make a salad or something else green as a side
i would have put the effort for mashed potatoes, big pot of small potatoes and how its just shoved on the plate isnt goodsmaller meat portion would have been better too
Good lad.
