I miss it bros
>>21586252???>>21586232it is pretty crazy that entire industry got cucked out of offering a slightly larger size of fries+drink because of a moral panic over retarded people eating too much in a very specific situation
>>21586271It's pretty crazy that anyone ever felt the need to offer (or purchase) 40 oz of sugar water and a full quart of fried potatoes with their hamburger sandwich meal.
>>21586300you know they just renamed it, right? they never stopped selling itjust marketing changed because morons like you cannot fathom anything other than your own fat ass housing every scrap and drop of food/drink that you order the second it passes through the driver side window of your 2006 honda civic
>>21586271It wasn’t “people”. It was that alcoholic huckster Morgan Spurlock and his fake documentary Super Size Me that caused the Super Size and Great Biggie to be eliminated.
We used to be a proper country.
>>21586311Housing? Morons like me cannot fathom no housing it? Are you suggesting these supersize meals that DID come off of menus were being saved for later servings or something? lolIf I would "house" all of the food as soon as it entered my 2006 Honda Civic, why would I also be opposed to these huge portions? What did the "marketing" change to? >>21586325Why are you fat fucks bitter that you can't get humongous portions anymore? Just order 2 if you can't get by on what is their largest sizes of drinks and fries. You are just pathetic. If you could find some political angle to this you'd have thrown that in too. You are bad people.
>>21586331eslembassing
>>21586331if you don't know what it means to house something, maybe look it up first>Just order 2so what did we accomplish by demonizing the 10% larger option for 5% more money
>>21586335Yes, that's embarrassing, not your post I replied to where I guess I made enough typos for you to shift this away from you being an obese cunt. I proofread this draft and there's nothing here for you to point at, dingus. "Biggie" and "Supersize" are gone and they've been gone for over two decades now. You're a middle-aged malcontent STILL upset. And that produces from me a sensible chuckle. heh-heh
>>21586331I’m not fat and I never have been, you sperg. I was pointing out it was one alcoholic liar and his fake documentary that caused the extra large fries and drinks to be eliminated. They were eliminated because one libtard alcoholic guy lied his ass off. There is a political angle too but it isn’t relevant and you’re obviously not capable of handling it.
>>21586341Housing it in my stomach? The immediate "wolfing down" as it were of all of the food right there in my Honda in the parking lot? I don't see it happening.
>>21586349lol, I know what angle you have in mind you terminally-online fucking schizo poltard faggot. It's all a huge conspiracy! To screw McDonalds shareholders out of money! Yeah! That's it! That makes sense! It's all part of the world script the new world order is trying to put into effect. You can't handle the truth, man!
>>21586355What the fuck are you talking about, you schizo boomer? Did you hear that on Coast to Coast? I told you you couldn’t handle politics.
>>21586347they renamed biggie to medium you retardhttps://www.npr.org/2006/06/20/5498454/wendys-biggie-portion-gone-in-name-only
I like to goto McDonald’s and ask for them to “Ronald size” my meal the big soulful black lady at the window always laughs and says boy you crazy
>>21586471Only on 4chan®

>>21586232It was a good bargain for young me but I'd often feel sick about half an hour later. Eventually figured out it was the drink, not the extra fries, that was doing me in. I stopped asking for "no ice" and that rectified the situation. Since I rarely eat fast food anymore, not really sad the upsized meals are gone but for people on a limited budget, it would be nice to be able to stretch their dollar some more.
>>21586325god that documentary is so fucking funny>wow man, your liver looks awful, like a late stage alcoholic>yeah, this is what mcdonald’s does to youand then he reveals he was an alcoholic the whole time
>>21586331I'm underweight and would like the calorie value of extra large servings. Companies used that shitty documentary as an excuse to cut value options.
>>21586271They only phased them out to damage control their PR. If you think about it, Supersize Me only helped fast food. The documentary made a big deal out of the superlard upsells (even making it the title). So the slop corps just took those off and invested in some fat camps, ultimately gaining positive PR. Their stock prices actually went way up thanks to their PR efforts in response to the documentary. Plus now they could start shrinking their portions and raising prices while claiming it's for health reasons. So the documentary criticizing fast food, which turned out to be fake, only ended up boosting fast food profits.
>>21586232
>>21586300>eat the fries>drink 1/4 of the soda and dump itProblem solved
>>21588453When the Jr bacon cheeseburger went over a dollar, it was the beginning of the end for me
>>21588453Their jr bacon cheeseburger is like $4 now. Wild.
>>21590231I could drive in 04 and they were still 99 cents, I think the 1.29 started by senior year and it was all downhill(uphill?) from there
>>21586232The prices rising and quality of fast food going down is being done on purpose to ween humans off this posion. Big world changes are coming
>>21591260Yeah I'm sure its all so we get something "better"..
>>21586232Some fuck made a documentary called Supersize Me about how eating extra large meals for every meal at fast food joints kills your body and all that shit got axed.Hilariously, 100% of the time the same experiment was tried the people eating just fast food list weight, lowered their cholesterol, and their overall health improved.Turns out the film maker was a MASSIVE alcoholic and all the health problems he got was from slamming back obscene amounts of alcohol during the same time frame as making the documentary. It's like how McDonald's fries all suck shit because some cardio rat had a heart attack and blamed it on animal fats used in cooking paving the way to seed oil dominance. Fast food joints? They used to fry stuff in lard (or in McD's case, tallow). Now? Strong evidence that saturated fats from animal fats is much more beneficial than unsaturated fats. Especially in regards to brain development.
