Do you like Sichuan food?
>>21594038>oil, oil, oil, oil, oil, oil, oil, oilNo thanks.
>>21594038yeah, dandan noodles is one of my favorite dishes
no. they use hot chilis to cover up the fact that they're eating rotten organ meat.
>>21594135no they use hot chilis because they're tastyfaggot
>>21594152>gutter oil is tasty
>>21594152go eat some unseasoned organ meats and then wash it down with a glass of duck blood and let me know how you feel.
>>21594155please learn to read thanks
>>21594038>>21594046Only if I make it myself which will never happen. Too many ingredients. I would use lard.
>>21594038i'm sure i would except the organ meatbut it's so expensive
>>21594038I really want to try Dandadan noodles but never had the opportunity. Kung pao chicken and mapo tofu are good.
>>21594038Other than the bottom left three, I'm sure I'd enjoy eating the rest. Not that I'd refuse the others, but my guess is I wouldn't really like em too much.
>>21594046you don't drink the oil dipshit
Where's the dry pot rabbit? Love that shit. >>21594046You might like dry pot style cooking. It's not nearly as oily as typical Sichuanese food tends to be. >>21594135If you can't taste rotten meat because of a few chilies, then you're the very definition of a tastelet
>>21594038Are there many restaurants of specific regions of a country out there? I think I have seen only one in my life.
>>21594038All of these sounds disgusting
>>21594723Yes. In my area, we've got • a number of Sichuan joints• an absolutely enormous number of Javanese places• Veracrucian• Sicilian • Bavarian • general Southern Italian• Northern Thai • a few general Southern/soul food joints• a geechee place • a couple Cajun/Creole joints• Brooklyn barbecue• Texas barbecue• used to have a Floribbean barbecue place but it closed • Turkish seafood (I think this one might not count since I'm pretty sure it's actually just Cypriot)And probably a few others that I'm missing or just not remembering right now.
>>21594238Keep in mind that "fish flavored pork" doesn't have anything to do with fish. It's called like that because the flavor also goes well with fish, not because it tastes of fish. It's essentially a spicy flavorful sauce with a nice acidity. Without the pork it's one of my favorite szechuan dishes, so I'd presume with it tastes great too. Obviously if it's the eggplant you don't like it doesn't matter.
Sichuan > Cantonese
>>21594038used to order dandan noodles under a chinese pseudonym with my mates to get them to give us the really spicy shit. Every thursday morning after I'd spend the first hour at work just shitting profusely, and would end up like like 7 more 15-20 toilet breaks throughout the day.Great stuff
>>21594038That Panda Express slop isn't authentic. Post real Sichuan food.
>>21594125it's so good i make it from scratch once every month or so to keep myself togetherexcept i do it with extra extra extra coriander
having a chinese fwb is so cash brosi never ate chinese food in my life until i met hernow im hooked
>>21594038Mapo tofu got me into tofu in general. It doesn't actually suck if you don't mold it into meat shapes. WOOHOO.
>>21597732Mine makes fun of me because I ate the Sichuan peppers without knowing you're supposed to spit them out.
>>21597939you definitely can eat them and you definitely don't need to be spitting shit on your plate. btw. i have consumed a lot of Sichuan and they don't laugh at me. it wouldn't be on your plate if it was fundamentally unsafe for consumption. that'd be like laughing at a person cause they eat the shrimp tail: some people do because it's not that hard.
>>21597943every chinese spits them out
I've never had Chinese food
