Since its coming in season, thoughts on Pumpkin Spice stuff?
>>21594887i like everything with cinnamon in it desu
>>21594887I'll buy one coffee when they come out, then im good for the year.
A lot of the gimmicky pumpkin spice stuff sucks and doesn't work but a good pumpkin spice coffee or hot chocolate is nice.
I honestly enjoy it a lot on things that it belongs in, and it belongs in a good number of things around this time of the season.
Pumpkin spice belongs in muffins, pies, and teasNothing else
>>21594887i made brian's pumpkin spice tiramisu last year and it was delicious. https://www.brianlagerstrom.com/recipes/perfect-tiramisumight do it again this year if there is an occasion
>>21594887Delicious. But the cinnamon and spice combo has to have an earthy, gritty flavor that imparts depth and introduces subtlety to its primary ingredient counterparts. Syrupy, concentrated pumpkin flavor is gross. Pumpkin pie ice cream is gross.
>>21594887I got a 12oz pumpkin spice latte from 4bucks for the first time in a looooong time and was surprised at how tasty it was. It was at a store in the bougie part of town and I'm wondering if that really did make a difference.
>>21594887I buy the Torani syrup and make lattes with oatmilk at home, shit is maximum morning comfy.
>>21594887I love this time of year, I love burning leaves, tight fuzzy sweaters, and 1,2,3 pumps of my favorite mystery, Pumping Spice.

I don't like most Pumpkin beers but there is one called Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, it is so good. It tastes like liquid pumpkin pie. I can only drink 1 or 2 but it's good when the weather turns cool.
I like Pumpkin Spice drinks but not Pumpkin Spice foods, mostly because it tastes artificial.
