I'VE BEEN STUCK HERE FOR 10 FUCKING MINUTES
FAST FOOD MY FUCKING ASS
FUCK MCDONALD'S
>>
McCafé was conceptualized and first launched in Melbourne, Australia, in 1993.
>>
>>21604131
I hope you wait more.
>>
That happens when you flip your car in the drive thru
>>
This is why you never door dash or order door dash after 10pm. All the regular businesses are closed so all the orders get funneled into a select number of all night locations. This causes drive throughs (the only way to get orders out after hours) to clog up and get behind. You'll end up waiting 2 hours for a cheeseburger
>>
Why don't we just feed fast food eaters bugs at this point?
I used to hate these Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab people but then I became an adult and realized they're right.
I mean if you're already waiting to sit in the RockefellerPod for 30 minutes for overpriced slop, why is eating bugs such a stretch?

at least you aren't stuck in a double drive thru. this shit is not any more efficient than a regular single drive thru and yet it is 10x more infuriating
>>
>>21604592
To be honest, he skullfucked you and your all giddy like a pensioner who saw a dick for the first time in 20 years
>>
>>21604812
poor people are always the least funny
>>
>>21604131
My local mcdonalds also sucks now because it's staffed by teenagers instead of middle aged illegal aliens. Dumb bitch taking orders couldn't even wear the headseat right, had to drive up to the first window for her to hear me.
>>
>>21604131
>right hand drive shithole.
>McDonald's

You lost before it started
>>
>>21604823
*up hand drive
>>
>>21604804
The hilarious thing about McDonald's double drive-thrus is that they build a second order taking window but they still have one single person taking orders from both screens and also taking payment, the ONLY time savings is that they are able to start taking an order immediately rather than having to wait for the next person to pull up to the order window but that isn't even always the case because half the time they're counting out nickels from the Boomer in front of you.
>>
>>21605042
>McDonald's double drive-thrus
only ever used these once. went in thinking "there's no way the average mcd's employee can handle this without fucking everything up" and then they proceeded to fuck everything up.
>>
>>21604131
piggy mad his spot at the trough isn't ready yet
fuck you fatty, next time walk there and go inside maybe you'll burn some calories
>>
What's the longest you've ever waited in a drive-though? I spent 30 minutes or more at Sonic once because I boxed in, tired, and really hungry.
>>
>>21605244
going inside doesn't help, mcdonalds metrics only care about drive thru numbers so they get served first
>>
>>21605272
900 seconds at an A&W, you could clearly see the timer from the window, and I was the only customer. expected my bag to reek of weed or alcohol but it was fine, just took way too long
>>
>>21605275
> expected my bag to reek of weed or alcohol but it was fine
That's hardly the worst that could happen. I got some McDonald's served to me my a cholo with slicked-back hair, and the fries smelled/tasted like hair gel.

>>

Saw a Mcdonald's drive through get held up for like an hour cause the line wrapped around the building and the people blocking the exit were too fucking stupid to realize they needed to move for the line to budge.
>>
>>21605274
the suggestion was based on walking there since then you can't drive through, though I'd guess you're roughly the size of a car
>>
>>21605042
Thanks for the explanation, boomer.
>>
>>21605504
This right here is why I'm shocked no one has tried to invest in an automatic drive thru, where you throw the car in neutral and sit on a belt, like a car wash. The number of times I've had my drive thru waits hugely extended by some blind old fuck or retarded yahoo that refuses to move is infuriating to think about.
>>
>>21605272
one time my taco bell was taking like 5+ minutes, the dude burned rubber in the parking lot pulling up next to me, screamed WHAT THE FUCK at me like i was the reason it was taking so long, then screeching tires peeled out presumably to go huff more cocaine while they waited impossible lengths of time for their sloppa
>>
I want a Commodore wagon so bad
>>
>>21605539
Because it'd be expensive as fuck and probably break down at least once a week

>expensive
To install, but imagine the money after the fact. You're in control of every aspect of the visit down to the second. People actually WANT to come your drive thru because they know they won't get cockblocked by some bullshit.
>breakdowns
Yeah anon, because no technology has ever been improved through trial and error. Car washes don't break down as often as you claim, certainly not because the conveyor belt is out.
>>
>>21605272
over an hour at a dairy queen on I-5 years ago. I forget why it was so bad, I think there was a crash ahead so everyone was getting off at that particular exit and getting DQ. I remember there was a swarm of like 12 stray cats in the parking lot that I watched while we sat in line forever

You know what would be cheaper and achieve 99% the same result?
>>
>>21605665
Sure, mostly. Still prone to too much human error.
>need a useful server
>driver needs to navigate a parking lot including backing out of spaces
>driver has to stop and park before they can move on
>restaurant has to deal with stall turnover like they're tables
>>
>>21605687
Those issues are far easier to solve (and cheaper) than creating a fast food car stacker.

>need a useful server
Dime a dozen, or get a robot to do it
>driver needs to navigate a parking lot including backing out of spaces
Driver needs to drive? Got it
>driver has to stop and park before they can move on
This is so stupid I'm not going to say any more
>restaurant has to deal with stall turnover like they're tables
So?

The last two times I've been in a Mcdonald's have been dire. The first was so eerie. Completely desolate other than indians coming in for delivery order than would pre-empt your presence in line even when I was already waiting at the counter for nearly 5 minutes with no one at the registers or in line or seated in the restaurant. After the employees came out only after the indians came in to pick up their order, I just left even though I hadn't eaten for over a day.
Last time was a couple days ago. Literally just needed a drink to wash something down that was caught in my throat and only Popeye's and McDs were around. Waiting, again, only person in line. Then the employee in back tells me to just use the kiosk. So I then waddle over and go through the entire process of making a digital kiosk order and then go back to wait at the counter for another 3-4 minutes until the employee see's the order and finally comes out to hand me a drink cup for my overpriced soda.
Gay. As Fuck. Basically gave up on fast food a couple years ago and these moments completely reaffirm my choice every time.

How? There's still only one kitchen, and the people making the food are still slow and retarded. I don't care how fast they can take orders because that isn't the bottleneck. Shawntavius Quanteese Leman Washington is still going to take twenty fucking minutes to make my burgers and cause me to get parked because he's loaded on fucking fentanyl.
