Javanese Muslims eat beef dishes.Chinese Peranakans (Baba Nyonya) have their own dishes like rainbow cake.Lowland Papuans eat sago bread (though they don't want to be part of Indonesia).

I went to an Indonesian restaurant in the city and they literally served me instant indomie noodles with some other shit on it, they had boxes of noodle packets stacked behind the counter, I was stunned.

Laksa being "Chinese" is facetious at best. Regardless of this, I singled out the most well known to the western world, those dishes aren't their cuisine in its entirety.

Roti murtabak and bom is fucking amazing. Almost any dessert in Malaysia is so fucking nauseatingly sweet that they're a chore to eat though.
